Canine Coach

I highly recommend Canine Coach! Linda and her team are excellent trainers. My once shy and timid puppy, Dash, has grown into a smart and confident dog and I couldn’t be happier! Linda and her staff use a positive reinforcement style of training with effective real-world applications and I’ve learned so much from the classes I’ve taken there. The trainers really care about you and your dog and will work with you to personalize any type of training you may need.

We are so glad to have found Canine Coach! Mrs. Linda came to our house for the initial consult and we are ecstatic. Linda has listened to all our concerns and worries, and made sure we were heard. She came into our home without any breed bias or prejudges towards our dog or any breed we talked about! After, the initial consultation we scheduled more individual sessions, which have been amazing! This is not just to help our dog learn more obedience, but helps me to be more confident and reliant as a dog owner! Mrs. Linda does a great job with positive reinforcement/clicker training and is able to explain every step, as well as why we do what we do. Seeing how the recommended and guided training interventions have made such a positive attitude change in our dog and us as dog parents is astounding. All, because we can understand the needs of our dog so much better. We are looking forward to join some of the upcoming courses and cannot wait to see how those will brighten our horizon in understanding, leading, and just having a great dog/owner relationship. This training is not just getting told, this is what you need to do without any reasoning of why. The positive reenforcement method, is like a fresh breath of air in a world that we previously only knew as punishment and fear as the training method, because of the belief that punishment is what works. In Oct. 2018 we adopted a Mill Dog rescue. We didn't know what we were up against. They don't tell you what kind of problems these dogs have. We were so stressed out and I was crying everyday due to the situation with this dog. I didn't know what to do. We called Canine Coach in December and as of now our dog has dramatically improved. With the work and advice that Linda gave us, he isn't the same dog he was in Oct. 2018. We know he'll never be a 'normal' dog, but the changes have been impressive. I highly recommend Canine Coach to anyone that wants help with their dog.

I’m so happy to have found Canine Coach to train our new puppy! I appreciate that the focus is on Ellie May becoming well socialized and having a positive experience. Linda is great and very patient with both her 4-legged and 2-legged clients (I think the 2 legged might be more of a challenge). She explains why the timing and sequence of events are important to ensure success. Linda and her team clearly love their role of “interpreter” and providing the tools needed for good communication. I have been bringing Kona to Canine Coach since July 2018. Kona is a German Shepherd and the most amazing dog because of the great work all the coaches have done with her. There has been ups and downs with some tears and the “ what have got myself into” moments with owning such a smart and energetic breed. The trainers are so kind and understanding. Linda, Megan and Kerry have taught me so much as well as Kona. This process in getting the dog of your dreams is not a quick process. It take time, patience and consistency but I promise if you stick with it you will truly have an amazing dog you will call your best friend. I highly recommend the puppy classes, level training and the walk and train. To be able to walk Kona without pulling and barking is truly a dream! In the beginning I wasn’t sure it was going to be possible. Not only was it possible she has exceeded my expectations. Can’t say enough good things.
