Canine City

SO happy we decided to send our puppy for board and training at Canine City! We sent a 5 month old boxer who loved to steal food from the counter and go to the bathroom in the house. We got back a dog who will now go to the bathroom outside (hallelujah) and who will sit in his “place” when food is around. While we definitely have work to do to make sure the good habits stick, Andy & team have set us up for success and laid a tremendous foundation for us. The entire training process was explained beforehand from A to Z, leaving no questions as to what we were sending our dog into. We are seeing a fantastic difference in our pup and will definitely be back!

Grateful is a simple word but it means so much. Especially for us. Thanks to Andy we were able to regain peace and harmony in our home. We are a 2 dog family and up until last June our dogs enjoyed being together. Playing and often snuggling together when they were resting. Following an incident with a bunny last June all that changed. My two dogs now hated each other and had created a dangerous environment. There were multiple fights that were difficult to break up and we were afraid we would have to relocate one of the dogs. Andy had trained our youngest dog and we were very happy with his results. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to so we gave him a call. Andy immediately called us back and offered lots of advice. While waiting for Andy to have an opening in his training schedule we were in contact with trouble shooting and advise. During this time both dogs lived parallel lives in the same house. While 1 dog had free time the other was in a crate. Never together. In November our oldest dog went into a 3 week behavioral training program with Andy and then we slowly worked in our youngest dog with visits. Once the on sight training ended Andy came to our home and worked with the dogs in their environment and gave my husband and I the skills needed to be sure we knew how to spot and correct potential problems. Flash forward 3 months and our home is peaceful once again. Our dogs are once again playing, snuggling and enjoying each other’s company. Our dogs still see Andy once a week for a day of play with some of his other clients which they both look forward to and love. This harmony could not have happened without Andy’s support and expertise. We are forever grateful. ~Jim and Rosemarie David

Zoey has been attending Canine City Dog Training and dog camp for months now, and she absolutely loves it. She always has the best time with her dog friends and working with Andy. Andy is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but he genuinely goes above and beyond to give each dog the best opportunity to learn and succeed. I recently talked to him about Zoey reacting to people walking by, and less than a week later he already had her in Home Depot actively working on her reactivity in a real-world setting. I also love the daily updates and pictures, it’s so comforting being able to see your dog throughout the day and know they’re happy, safe, and enjoying themselves. I can’t recommend Andy and Canine City Dog Training enough. We will definitely be long-term customers.

If you are even thinking about brining your dog to canine city just do it, Andy is amazing. I brought cash to Andy, cash is a pit mix rescue who was tarting to develop some aggressive behaviors out of fear. Andy is extremely thorough, kind, and patient, I was very nervous about bringing cash here as most of his issues were men kids and other dogs. Andy settled all of my nerves from our first consultation till when we said good bye after cash’s 3 week stay. He is extremely informative, does not sugar coat or over promise, he treats all the dogs that come here as an extension of his family and it truly shows.
