Before Chief went through board and train, he struggled with all the typical puppy behaviors—leash pulling, jumping, nipping, zoomies, and an inability to truly settle down. He always seemed to be in a heightened state of excitement. Even simple things like cuddling on the couch were difficult because he constantly wanted to jump all over us with a toy and play. When we tried to correct him, it often seemed to stress him out more, resulting in even more zoomies and excess energy. We needed help communicating with Chief and his manners/ basic obedience training. Shannon was truly a godsend for our boy, Chief. From the very beginning, she treated him with the same care, patience, and love we give him at home. Chief formed a wonderful bond with her, and it was obvious how much she genuinely cared about both his success and ours. The transformation we saw in just one week was incredible. Chief is still the same loving, goofy, happy dog we adore, but now we have structure, consistency, and a clear way to communicate with him. When he starts to struggle, he's able to redirect, and we have the tools to guide him successfully. What he accomplished in such a short time exceeded our expectations and gives us confidence in what he'll continue to achieve as we continue with his training. One of the biggest reasons we chose this program was the follow-up support, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. They don't just hand your dog back and say, "Good luck." The ongoing check-ins, follow-up visits, and calls help keep us accountable and ensure we're continuing the work at home. We never once felt rushed. Shannon spent hours talking through our questions, addressing concerns, and making sure we felt confident before leaving. They are truly invested in the long-term success of both the dog and the family. Shannon is very knowledgeable. She always takes the time to listen and offers multiple approaches to problem-solving. She works with you to find what works best for your dog, and that personalized approach has made all the difference for Chief. The entire care team was phenomenal. The daily updates, photos, and communication gave us complete peace of mind while Chief was away. Dropping my baby off was not easy and the care team made sure we always knew he was happy, smiling, and loved—and it's obvious he loves it there, too. We are incredibly grateful for everything Shannon and her team have done for Chief. I can confidently say I would be hesitant to take him anywhere else for training or boarding. If you're considering a board and train program, this team is worth every penny- only wish we did it sooner!!

Our Shepsky (Dallas) was WILD. I couldn't believe the change in him after a week and a half with Alex. He was a different dog. I encourage anyone to invest if you're willing to take the time afterwards to maintain. But I'm so thankful that Alex did the hard part for us. He also made himself completely available day and night while we worked through the kinks.10 out of 10 highly recommend!!! Worth EVERY dollar. You get what you pay for!
