Choosing someone to train your dog requires a tremendous amount of trust. You are not simply paying for a service—you are placing an animal you love in someone else’s hands and hoping the training will truly make a difference. Three years after Blue’s original training with Calypso Canines, I can confidently say that choosing them was one of the best decisions I made for him. Because of my military commitments, I spent a long period away from Blue, and naturally I wondered how much of his training he would still remember. I contacted Mike and explained the situation. Instead of simply telling me to purchase another program, he invited Blue and me back for a refresher session and did it at no charge. What happened next genuinely impressed me. Within minutes, Blue began responding to the same commands he had learned years earlier. It was almost as if someone had flipped a switch and brought all of that training back to the surface. We enrolled our 5-month-old puppy in the Dream Dog program, and the results have been incredible. Before training, he was a typical puppy and hard to walk on a leash. After just 10 days, he came home like a completely different dog. He now walks beautifully on leash, and I actually prefer walking him off leash because his recall and obedience are that good. People are always shocked to learn he’s only 7 months old because he’s so well-behaved. The trainers did an amazing job and clearly care about the dogs they work with. They run their business from their home with their family, creating a welcoming environment, and they were always quick to respond to my texts and answer any questions. I highly recommend this training facility to anyone looking for both on-leash and off-leash training. It was one of the best investments we’ve made for our puppy. I’ll be back with my next one!
