Calm on Command K9

We cannot recommend Calm on Command highly enough. Before bootcamp our dog really struggled with basic commands and was incredibly challenging on the leash. After bootcamp he’s like a new dog, and we feel so much safer with the peace of mind that he’ll consistently listen to us. RJ and Rose show such care and compassion, our dog was is such good hands with them. It’s clear they are true masters of dog training, and they also took the time to understand our dogs needs. The homework for us was very thorough, and they took the time to answer all our questions at graduation so we have the knowledge and confidence to keep the training going. Would 11/10 recommend to anyone!!

Rosie and Rj are the best of the best! I was dealing with some pretty severe separation anxiety and reactivity issues with my dog and felt completely overwhelmed. I reached out to Rosie and Rj and they promptly set up a free phone consult. They took their time explaining their different training services and gave me some tips on how to begin dealing with Lucy’s behaviors. I ended up signing up for the 6 lesson package and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Lucy is like a new dog! I can finally enjoy walking the Canton waterfront with her, introduce her to new people and she will even hold a down when we take her to restaurants. First of all, we would love to thank the team for the transformation of our two year old, Artemis ❤️. Artemis is a rambunctious, active, and carefree puppy. With an 80 year old involved, we can now run errands with Arti, travel and trust that she is well behaved and trained. The boot camp has created a new lifestyle for us all, where Arti has developed skills to now be a part of our busy lives smoothly. She is a much better listener, while she’s still a risk taker 😆. We have all learned from this experience and look forward to continue this journey. Thank you so much RJ and Rosie! We look forward to joining the pack walks! When Lou and Leon started fighting back in July... I wasn’t sure if we could fix it. I couldn’t find anyone who’s case scenario was like ours - perfectly fine one day and the next day couldn’t come within 5 feet of each other, separated by a gate 24/7... it was a strange scenario and there were ZERO triggers... just being near each other was a trigger. Fast forward to bootcamp with RJ and he reestablished the structure of their life and showed Lou how a true leader should conduct his pack. Nate and I were no experts at following suit.. it was really hard and we lost followers because people thought our training methods were cruel or wrong or stupid whatever but not a lot of people know what it feels like when your 1 dog puts your other dogs LIFE in danger... the first week we got them back from bootcamp, Lou went after Leon, I felt like a failure all over again. Immediately called RJ and he basically told me, “you need to be 100% on the ground rules I set... every rule at RJs house applies and you need to be very strict for the first month”... from that moment forward we did exactly that. Every month we lightened up the rules but kept the structure. The first month Lou barely received any attention... now he’s snuggling on the couch with us again! This transformation reminded me of dieting... try to fix quick and fad diet... you’ll lose the weight and a month later gain it back. Find a lifestyle that works for you, sure it might be slow but it’s a forever solution. RJ taught us that. Lots of patience.. lots of paying very close attention and making sure we had absolutely every move Leon and Lou made around each other under 100% control. Now they’re bumping into each other, taking 7 hour car rides in the back seat together, going to the groomer together and we have not had any incidents since!!! I’m so grateful for what this process has taught me about Leon and Lou, and the bond I have with both of them is greater than ever. While this was a hard situation in the beginning, it’s turned into a blessing in the end.
