Calm on Command K9

We adopted our doggy Lily from BARCS and she was so scared. She had a hard time with listening, lacked confidence, and often would pee when she was frightened. We reached out to Rosie and RJ to help us and after only a few lessons, Lily really turned a corner. The difference they made with their care and approach was astounding and I couldn’t be happier that they were recommended to us. We cannot recommend them enough!!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Calm on Command! RJ and Rosie exceeded our expectations—our dogs graduated over six weeks ago, and they’re still consistently well-behaved and responsive. It truly feels like a transformation. What makes Calm on Command so special is that the dogs literally become part of their family during training. They live in RJ and Rosie’s home, are treated with love and structure, and honestly, it feels like a holiday for them! Our Cavaliers LOVED camp and absolutely adore Rosie and RJ. One of the biggest differences is that RJ and Rosie didn’t just work with our dogs—they worked with us, too. They gave my husband and me the confidence, tools, and clear guidance we needed to support the training at home. And it’s working! We’ve been through another boot camp years ago with our golden retrievers, and there’s simply no comparison—Calm on Command is five stars all the way. Rosie is especially amazing with ongoing support—she’s responsive, thoughtful, and always happy to help with any questions after your dog returns home. I don’t know if I have words to describe how incredible Rose and RJ are. Their dedication to the animals in training is absolutely one of a kind. I am the Director and Founder of Cartagena Paws Animal Rescue, based out of Buffalo, NY. I have worked and rehabilitated dogs for the past 10 years and have never found such an effective, dedicated, strategic group of trainers like Rose & RJ at Calm on Command K9. Recently, they helped me with one of my former rescues who was surrendered to us. The dog suffered a great deal of trauma and was in great need of socialization. I have never seen such a turn around in any of the animals I have sent away to other trainers before. They were able to completely transform this dog into the beautiful soul that she always was. She now is able to go to public places and enjoys playing with children and other animals. There are zero signs of aggression.
