Calm Family Dog Training

Ms Sue is amazing - her calm demeanor and authenticity is what I loved most working with her. My sweet cute miniature schnauzer puppy turned into a rebellious 1 year old that ate everything, didn’t listen or obey. We had tried other trainers and methods as a puppy that did not work and ended up at the ER the night of Christmas Eve due to eating Christmas decorations. Luckily no surgery was needed but something had the change. Then I found Ms Sue and her easy, fun and loving training methods worked for my Sweet Ned. I choose the at private home training and what a difference it made. He is not perfect yet but he’s come a long way in 6 weeks. He listens and obeys and is able to be the sweetest companion to me. We had become frustrated with some specific behaviors Otis was showing us - all fixable and yet frustrating, in need of change. We now have the tools to help our sweet boy shine. Sue is encouraging, explains her rationale for her commands, and uses positive reinforcement with Otis - nothing punitive here. He learned the PLACE command in under five minutes and that has been a life-saver for our family. If you are willing to PRACTICE what she's laying on you, you will see a huge difference. The work that Susan did with our pup in a week has made a great difference. There is still some work that needs to be done on our end on a daily basis to reinforce the training but Susan gave us all the tools and knowledge as well as laid out the groundwork for us to make our pup the perfect companion for our family.
