Calm Family Dog Training

Sue was awesome and helped us tremendously with our little girl. When we got her at just barely 3 months, she was an absolute demon, land shark, and of course as a puppy she had zero impulse control. With Sue’s help, we were able to watch her transform into a calm, obedient pup. It is so nice to be able to have people over/taking her places knowing that she has a strong base of commands and obedience.

We are very pleased with Sue and her Calm Family Dog Training in home sessions. Our 2 Cocker Spaniels (11yrs and 2yrs) both were a bit of a challenge, 11yr old habits not easily broken and 2yr old had flight issues especially with strangers. During the 5 sessions we learned better ways to communicate expectations as well as correction techniques. Both dogs were very excited to train and very receptive. This may sound funny although they now have a Job!!! :)~ The training collar used by Sue provides both guidance and when needed correction to remind dogs expectations. Extremely impressed with Sue's processes and results from the training. What all need to understand is it requires humans to be on the same page and practice often, which is what we will continue to do.

Our Texas Blue Lacy, Bluedreaux, is smart, full of energy, and lots of fun, but also lots of work. Sue gave us solid strategies for helping Blue to settle and follow commands. She is also great at "training the handler" -- we probably needed as much training as Blue - or more. We're grateful for Sue's calm and patient instruction. We'd recommend her to anyone with a high-energy, nervous dog like our Blue.
