About California Canine Dog Training
If you want a well behaved dog with whom you have a deep bond, then our services will set you up for success! Our group classes begin as early as 9 weeks for your new puppy to ensure you start off your relationship on the right paw. Obedience classes include basic manners all the way through Therapy Dog certification. To help you deepen your bond, we offer classes in agility where obedience is reinforced while your dog is having a great time learning jumps, tunnel, ramps, and more! In addition to group classes, we offer private training for basic obedience and agility as well as specific problem resolution such as leash reactivity, issues with other dogs, and shyness.

what do you offer for a 19 week old standard poodle that has just been thru a one month boarding training session?
Hi Lisa, I would suggest puppy manners so you can continue the training with your dog in a distraction setting. Even puppies that have been through board and train require bonding with their owner and focus work when they are distracted. You can also continue the socialization with puppy playtimes. Bizzie has been coming to California Canines since she was about seven months old and just about out of control. She was a seven month old tricolor full-blooded Australian Shepherd. At age 75 I needed help. She started out an individual classes and Ashley was wonderful with her. We’ve moved onto to obedience 1 and now we’re in obedience 2. She’s 16 months old now. Her progress has been remarkable. I highly recommend California canines you’ll not be disappointed.
CA Canine has been a great for us. They have taught us how to best train our dog. Gracie went from puppy preschool, obedience, therapy dog training, scent work and is now doing the fun tricks class. Gracie gets very excited when we drive up to class. She loves working with all the teachers and we love having a well trained dog!

Watching him progress from being very distracted (and for good reason) to being able to concentrate on me and follow-through on expectations has been a celebration. It's natural for a room full of dogs to want to reach out to their mates, but somehow they seem to know this is school but not a playground. Meagan is effective and kind, uses positive reinforcement and gentle reminders. She's great!
This is our second puppy that we’ve trained through CCA and we love it! The classes focus on dog handling, but also train the humans to read cues, why dogs act the way they do, and insights on our dogs’ personalities.
