Caitlin's Animal Training

My sweet puppy Abby had a traumatic puppyhood and as a result barked at other dogs. A lot. Caitlin spent time with us to help her overcome her fears and handle other dogs nearby. Just today we passed multiple dogs on a walk and held a sit and stay. And once when a dog barked at us we barked briefly and then recovered to a sit and stay. Caitlin’s methods are to train without pain, using understanding, calming techniques and treats as reinforcement. We couldn’t have done it without her. Walks are fun again!!!

We first contacted Caitlin about our 2 French bulldog puppies. We were having great difficulty housebreaking them. Caitlin responded quickly to our requests. We set up an appointment very quickly. Calvin and Coco responded to her right away. She is very professional, yet friendly and helpful. She gave us the tools we needed to get our pups headed in the right direction. Also gave us tips on stopping their jumping on us, learning to sit for duration and respond to their names. We would greatly recommend Caitlin’s services. We now are enjoying a much calmer house and enjoying our puppies. I would not hesitate to call Caitlin in the future with other training for our dogs!

Caitlin is the real deal. If you are looking for an animal trainer that is knowledgeable, caring, easily adaptable and does not use negative reinforcement, she is the one to call! We were at our wits end with our German Shepherd, Ocean. She was highly anxious, reactive to just about every outside stimuli imagineable and attacking our other dog to the point of needing emergency vet care. With a few simple environmental changes and some medication, Caitlin was able to get Ocean to the point of being open and receptive to training. Ocean has made improvements progressively with Caitlin's guidance and support. Caitlin takes the time to check in between sessions and is always available to answer questions regardless of how silly they may be or seem. Caitlin's personality is upbeat and infectious. She has brought a sense of hope to a situation I had deemed hopeless from the start. On day 1, Caitlin told me that there was hope for positive change. Like I have told her repeatedly through the training process, she was right! No matter what she suggests, I highly recommend following her advice. She hasn't steered us wrong yet.
