FirstBarkPuppy kindergarten was the best thing we’ve done for our new pup! My husband and I learned so much and Michele was very helpful at tailoring specific training to his problem areas. So looking forward to taking additional classes here

When my puppy gets all his shots will it be okay to start training
Hi Sandra, We offer a puppy preschool class for undervaccinated puppies 8-16 weeks of ag. The medical requirement are that they must have received their first distemper/parvo vaccine and ten days must have passed since it was administered. You must also provide us with a copy of a negative fecal test result indicating no parasites were found in your puppy's stool. We sanitize our entire facility and equipment used during the class with Rescue, a veterinary hydrogen peroxide based cleaner before each preschool class. For puppies who have completed the series of puppy vaccines and have their rabies vaccine, we have a puppy kindergarten for puppies 4-7 months of age.

A big thank you to Kim at Building Bonds! I had in home training sessions for my new rambunctious dog that did not understand sit at first. Through weekly sessions I learned how to anticipate my dog’s needs, learn more about my dog’s behavior, and how to promote good healthy behaviors that I wanted him to display. By our last session, my dog was much more calm, not jumping on people and learned that sitting or staying on the ground would get him better attention that he wanted. Thank you!
Our family had the best time in puppy kindergarten. Learning skills/games was super fun and engaging. The instructor was very positive. We learned so much!
Kim was very knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed our training and learned some valuable exercises to help us and our dog communicate better. We have numerous goals and are seeing improvement in most areas. Just as importantly, we are confident that with our new knowledge we will have success in our future training. We are most pleased with the service we received!
