FirstBarkThe small group class size allows for some distraction to work through which is really helpful for us. It's easy to work with no distractions-I need help with the distracted dog! Instructors are great- knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely come back for more.

When my puppy gets all his shots will it be okay to start training
Hi Sandra, We offer a puppy preschool class for undervaccinated puppies 8-16 weeks of ag. The medical requirement are that they must have received their first distemper/parvo vaccine and ten days must have passed since it was administered. You must also provide us with a copy of a negative fecal test result indicating no parasites were found in your puppy's stool. We sanitize our entire facility and equipment used during the class with Rescue, a veterinary hydrogen peroxide based cleaner before each preschool class. For puppies who have completed the series of puppy vaccines and have their rabies vaccine, we have a puppy kindergarten for puppies 4-7 months of age.

I recently attended a fantastic presentation by Kim Silver on Fostering Resilience in Dogs. The topic resonated with me and gave me helpful tools to consider and implement. This presentation was attended by over 30 GVR Canine Club members in Green Valley Arizona. I heard so many thanks from the attendees as well. It's wonderful to have such depth in knowledge in our local area.
I used Building Bonds with my German Shepherd Willow whom is reactive to people and other dogs. I meet Kim the trainer in Sauharita for some one on one BAT training ( Behavior Adjustment Training. I highly recommend Kim and Building Bonds to anyone that needs help with their dog in a positive, force free environment and way of training that works.

Kim is fantastic! The best dog trainer I have ever had the pleasuring of working with since I've lived in Rancho Sahuarita, AZ. I have worked with other dog trainers in the Green Valley and Tucson area but I think that Kim gives a level of care with dogs that is unmatched. She has experience with special needs dogs as well, and I think it brings an elevated level of patience and understanding to her approach. My dog has high anxiety and can't be left alone for too long, and Kim has worked with me to give me some of my freedom back while my dogs feels safe and has been behaving more calmly as a result. I always learn something new when I speak with Kim, she is an incredibly knowledgeable dog trainer and I can tell that dog training is not only her field of expertise, but her passion. I definitely recommend hiring Kim and Building Bonds if you need exceptional dog training and dog behavioral work in the Tucson, Sahuarita, and Green Valley areas.
Kim is a trainer who uses positive training techniques that are a fresh breath in a market that tends to take the easy (punitive) path most of the time. Worth the drive to Sahuarita.
