Buck Wild Dog Training

I’ve worked with Victoria with 2 of my dogs and cannot emphasize enough how much I trust her when it comes to proper training, care and life enhancement for my dogs. She has always put my dog’s needs first and worked to train me in proper handling techniques across the board. One of my dogs was service trained by her and although I don’t use her in that way as much anymore, what she learned during that training has stuck with her to this day. Her heart for volunteer work in the rescue community is huge and she is truly working to make dogs’ lives in her surrounding area better every day. Couldn’t recommend BuckWild dog training more!!

I can't say enough good things about Victoria and Buckwild. I took my GSD here to work on his reactivity to dogs. We had been to so many trainers and classes that I was feeling burnt out, pessimistic, and quite frankly hesitant to have him out in the world. When I say my dog did a complete 180- he went from inconsolably upset around any dog he saw to content and happy. And our bond grew closer than ever, too! Watching the stress melt away out of his body and mind and be replaced by good coping skills that didn't rely on harsh punishment or damaging our bond was the most amazing thing, I found myself crying happy tears over how well he did. Sadly, he did pass at a young age due to a horrible accident. He was having a surgery done and his heart stopped on the table. Victoria was the first one I told and I could tell she felt the hurt as deeply as I did. She was more than his trainer, she was our cheerleader and our friend. She celebrated who my dog was, she helped us through the thick of his behavioral modification, and she mourned and honored him with me. She loved my dog as if he was her own and I will never forget that. Buckwild is the absolute gold standard of care and compassion for dogs and I will never go anywhere else.

Victoria is one of the best dog trainers I’ve ever met. More than half the battle is training the owner, as well as the animal. She taught me and my dog, so incredibly much and changed our dog-owner relationship for the better for the rest of our lives together. My dog was reactive on the leash. She taught me the value of training him to walk right next to me. At my command. With me in charge. Anyone who does not see the value in this obviously doesn’t understand that we, as human beings, can influence our animals, through our words, body language, reactions, even facial expressions. This skill was very important stepping stone for the rest of our training together. And 100% consistency On the part of the owner is required. Victoria is not inexpensive. This is absolutely a case of you get what you pay for. She is intelligent, professional, respectful, no nonsense, + amazing with animals. Buck wild is the only place I trust to care for my dogs! This family run business doesn’t only love your dogs like they are their own, but they ensure your dog’s safety in a way that no large boarding facility can do! While I’ve only used Buck Wild for boarding, I’ve seen the impact of their training programs. Anyone would be hard press to find another trainer that is on the same level as Victoria. You may see their prices and think they are a little high, but you are paying for the safety and care of your fur babies. It is worth every penny! I cannot recommend Buck Wild enough for any of your dog needs!
