BTS K9 Dog Training and Boarding

We took our 6 month old golden retriever, Astro, to BTSK9 for a two-week puppy board and train. It made all the difference in his behavior, especially the heel command. Now I and my kids can take him for walks without the constant struggle or pulling or being reactive. I would highly recommend BTSK9. Will be looking at future training here to build on his skills as he matures. Loved the daily pictures and/or videos of Astro's progress and the follow-up training for the family after two weeks was extremely helpful. It’s been about a month and a half since my dog went through the two week training. At first I was skeptical because he has been so hard for me to train on my own. He would pull, bark, and try to be the leader on walks. Around the house he was great- just border aggressive.- since picking him up from training I have worked with him everyday on what they instructed and now- he walks at a heel when we go for walks, he is looking at me to check in constantly. When we see other dogs- he will sometimes bark and pull but it will definitely take lots of time and practice to achieve ❤️ but he is overall a new dog. He follows sit and down commands on walks. We even bought him his own place mat for home and he will immediately go to it when he sees me getting ready to cook in the kitchen. They were wonderful and gave so much advice and videos of the trainings to help my boy get to where he is now. I never would have imagined being able to take him out on walks, let alone when there are other dogs

The trainers did an amazing job with my 5 y/o Doberman. They tailored an individual plan to help him with reactivity and leash aggression, and helped him with positive behavior both on and off the leash. Rescue is more confident and attentive now, and so much more well behaved in public. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, the staff and trainers kept me updated on his progress throughout the entire 2 weeks. They also helped me to realize why he behaves the way he does, and how I can reinforce the good behavior and correct the negative behavior in a way Rescue understands. I couldn't be happier with the results!!! Thank you BTSK9!!!!!
