Brett Shelby Professional Dog Trainer

Brett is a fabulous trainer, who is professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable. When we first brought our lab puppy home, we were so overwhelmed. We immediately called Brett, who came the next day, on a Sunday, to help us. We don’t know how we would have managed without his guidance and help. Because of Brett, Tucker, our lab, has shown GREAT improvement. Brett also responds quickly to any phone call or text. We highly recommend Brett for any dog training!

This is the trainer you need. We adopted our Doxie, Stewie, and he was a bit aggressive. Then my mom came to live with us with nurses and aids coming and going and he got worse. He nipped a couple of people and I didn't know what to do! We got one trainer who was very uptight and wouldn't listen to me that I thought Stewie was nervous. We stopped with her and found Brett. He could see straight away that Stewie was in fact nervous. His relaxed manner helped us all feel better. He taught us how to train Stew and his behavior became excellent. The training steps are so easy and take so little time. Our vet's office commented that Stewie was like a different dog. Also, Brett always makes himself available to answer questions etc. I highly recommend him.

Brett Shelby is a game changer! My husband & I adopted a German Shepherd mix with some leash pulling issues. It was so bad we weren’t sure we could keep her. After 2 sessions with Brett we have a much better behaved dog. He taught her (& us) leash skills, commands & discipline. He also brought dogs to help us train Bessie not to pull while walking her. He’s patient, answers any questions & is incredibly good at his job. We enjoy our sessions with him as well as our dog, Bessie! If you are on the fence, I highly encourage you to hire Brett Shelby. It is a very small amount of money in comparison to having a well behaved dog!
