Brandon is a GOD-SEND! My husband and I brought home a German Shepherd puppy, Luca, and by five months old he was already 70 pounds of energy, strength, and playfulness. As first-time large dog owners, we were completely unprepared for just how much stimulation and engagement he needed. With both of us working full-time, we were spending every spare moment trying to tire him out with runs, fetch, tug-of-war - just to get a little peace so we could focus on work and daily life. We didn’t come into this blindly, we genuinely tried to train Luca ourselves. We watched countless dog training videos, tried different methods, and implemented the techniques that many trainers promised would work even on the most stubborn dogs. Despite our best efforts, nothing stuck. Luca didn’t understand boundaries - he nibbled on our hands, barked constantly at passing cars, ignored us when we called him, and showed growing uneasiness around other dogs and small children, even if they were just walking by. To be completely transparent, by the time we reached out to Brandon, we were overwhelmed. As much as we absolutely loved Luca (he is the sweetest dog) the constant stress of managing his needs was wearing us down. We even had conversations about whether we were truly equipped to raise him in our home, which was heartbreaking for us. We felt stuck, guilty, and exhausted. Then we found Brandon and everything changed. Within just 20 minutes of our first consultation, Brandon made more progress with Luca than we had in five entire months. He didn’t just work with Luca; he helped us understand him. Brandon has been an absolute miracle worker with our 2 dogs. My only wish is that we would have found him 10 years ago when it all started. The difference we saw after leaving our dogs with him on the first evaluation day was astonishing- from muzzles and our Lab going after one of his dogs, to no muzzle and tolerating being around his pack of many different dogs, all within a few short hours, was unbelievable! We spent that first day sharing our story so he had a full history and complete picture of how life has been (with our one dog whining and trying to attack everyone that walked by) to picking them up and watching them calmly roam the room while we spoke with no reaction to all the people/dogs coming by. The videos we saw of that day where he allowed them to show their true colors in order to use discipline and dominance to hormonally get them to understand in a new way was shocking to watch. The real work started when we got home that night and had to be accountable for our own actions and make sure we followed the new protocol. It was hard to not slip back into regular patterns, but the more consistent you are, the easier it seems to keep making new choices for your own behavior. We have thrown out all of their toys and made sure to be as accountable as possible because at the end of the day, the issue is with us as people not understanding what our dogs truly need- hierarchy. The concepts, as Brandon explains them, are so clear to see and understand, yet it is against the grain of what every other trainer had told us to do. By the time we found Brandon, we had worked with multiple other trainers that all came with good intentions, but their methodologies were inherently flawed because they would always leave and explain that we are just going to have to live with how they are and make adjustments accordingly to make sure no one gets injured. About 4.5 years ago, we ended up taking in 2 more dogs ( mom and daughter huskies) and had to create a jail system in our own home to keep everyone separated at all times. It was beyond stressful for everyone and there were a couple of dog fights that landed us in the hospital. We had vowed to just be better at never allowing them to get near each other, but it was no way to live. It was about a year and a half ago that the mom husky passed away and that very night is the first day our Lab bit my husband. This was the first of a series of bites as he increasingly became more aggressive. We were at wits end and then the other husky passed and the aggression continued to intensify, especially on walks outside where he would redirect and bite us. My husband found Brandon and we decided to try one last time. It has been a life changer and I am just sad we couldn't have found him when our 2 huskies were still with us. We have subsequently been taking them to daycare as well as leaving them with him for one week to continue our goals of being able to eventually walk down the street again without the fear that there is going to be an incident. As long as we continue to follow the rules that have been set out, we have noticed a significant improvement with their behavior in the house and yard as well. What seemed like the impossible, or that we would need a miracle, has become easy to now understand that we were just lacking the proper information and tools. We are so grateful to have found Brandon and hope that anyone else that feels like there is no hope left for their situation will give it a shot to experience the same amazing results!

I met Brandon when my roommate brought her very untrained Rottweiler and Chow mix dog to come live with us. He would growl at me and I didn't feel safe. He also would growl and bark at anyone outside the front door, when the doorbell range, and when they walked inside. He was an over enthusiastic guard dog... She hired Mr. Fouche for just one session. I was stunned by how he got the dog to do a 180 in just one session! However, he used a shock collar at the start just to get the dog to stop being aggressive. Since then, I've learned that other dog behavioralists successfully do not use those... and I prefer that, if possible. But I did learn a lot about dog psychology from Mr. Fouche and how to better understand and communicate with them. He showed us how to get your dog to walk by your side and not out in front of you (its safer for the dog & identifies you as the Alpha too). I always tell people about him & his methods now to anyone I meet with a dog that may be in need of training.

I have a 5y/o 80lb pitbull mix. We have had him for about 2 years. He has had a history of aggression towards other dogs. Brandon was the 4th trainer I worked with. It used to be damn near impossible to walk him near (within 50 feet of) other dogs. He used to lunge on the leash and all i would be able to do was hold on until the dog walked by. He even once snapped the leash while lunging towards another dog. Trust me, it was bad. We had made some progress with the prior trainer using a prong collar and even an e-collar at first. Like I said, we made some progress, but we did not address the cause of the issues. He was still reacting to dogs and i wanted more for him. Furthermore, i didnt want to walk him with the prong collar anymore. We took him to Brandon for his evaluation about 3-4 weeks ago. He spoke to us for a while, we then left Brownie with Brandon, and came back in the afternoon. While we left him there, he was able to get brownie to be in the middle of a group of dogs without being aggressive at all. Brandon records everything he does with your dog and you will receive the videos. I actually got quite emotional when i saw him with the other dogs. It can be very difficult dealing with an aggressive dog, so seeing him that way was very powerful. We then spent another couple of hours on how we should be walking him and how we should be around him. After the evaluation, we followed up with Brandon DAILY over the next 2 weeks, and provided updates, videos, and asked questions. Make sure you do this daily. I felt it was a crucial step. I have done my share of research on dog trainers that deal with aggression and didn't find anyone that addresses the issues quite the same way as Brandon. This isn't a magic trick, and you are going to have to be different around your dog and make the changes he recommends. One of our issues was that i was not being a strong alpha, causing my dog to feel like he has to "handle" and perceived threats. He/we are now able to walk closer to other dogs than ever before while also keeping him totally calm. Brownie now walks about 3 feet behind me on our walks. When i stop, so does he, and i dont even have to say a word. He just follows my lead. A big plus for us was that once Brandon has evaluated a dog, he will board them. Brownie was not a dog that i would hand over to a Rover (or anyone) to look after while i was away. Brandon had also said that Brownie needs some socialization as part of his rehabilitation process. About 3 weeks after the evaluation, we took Brownie for 3 days of boarding with Brandon just so that he can spend more time with other dogs under Brandon's care. I even got to see Brownie play with other dogs, something i wasnt sure was even possible. I am very happy with the progress we have made. We still have more work to do, and i have had to go back and rewatch the videos of the evaluation to really grasp his points and methods, but I'd honestly tell you that its worth it.
