Bowser's Dog Services

Two of the trainers for this company were training their dogs in Lowe's today and the one dog pooped on the floor. The trainers did not appear to be doing any shopping themselves- just using Lowe's as a training ground. They cleaned it up but come on no one shopping in Lowe's wants to encounter an untrained dog pooping. I had a toddler in tow and had to make sure they steered clear of the poop. Then they threw the poop bag in the bathroom trash instead of taking it with them or bringing it to an outside can. We all know how badly dog poop stinks. It was disrespectful to the people who clean the floors and bathrooms, shoppers, and responsible dog owners.

Jayara was the best! She made sure we understood how to communicate with our pup, Pallas. I’ve went through quite a few trainers looking for help and I’m so happy to say that I don’t need another one after Jayara. She took incredible care of our doggo both in lessons and in boarding. She was honest with us when it came to what was needed to get the results we want. Before Bowser’s and Jayara I couldn’t take my pup anywhere without her being reactive and ever since her board and train we’ve been going out and she was on her perfect behavior at Page’s opening night in line for 1.5 hours. I absolutely loved my experience and would recommend anyone to Bowser’s. Thank you so much for helping us give Pallas a fulfilling life with many more adventures.

I thought I was a good dog trainer. I’ve had prior dogs that had exceptional behavior. Until last fall when we got the most insane, excitable, stubborn puppy I have ever encountered. He was an absolute nightmare and was turning our house upside down. Upon a recommendation we called Bowser. From the moment Nate stepped in our house we knew we had our answer. Our dog is now obedient, calm, and enjoyable to be around. He is also FINALLY living in harmony with our 2 cats. We also boarded Fritz while we were on vacation. We received many updates and he was returned to us better than he was dropped off. Even though our training is over, Bowser has become part of our family and are still more than willing to help if we have a question. Highly recommend.

We met the folks with Bowser at one of the pet expo’s, and it was just perfect timing. We’re expecting a newborn in mid-July, but I had been struggling with my golden retriever with being well-mannered when seeing other people (or dogs) and pulling on the leash. He had the basic obedience down…. If you had treats. We did the basic package that included the 2 week board and train, and when he came back to us, he was so well behaved. Still his silly goofy self at home, but when we go outside, he actually comes when called (even without treats) and stays by my side when I tell him to heel. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s super nice to not feel like he’s going to make me fall or drag me down the street anymore. And he’s much more polite and not jumping on humans he sees. We couldn’t have had such a well trained boy so fast without them.
