Cameron is such a great trainer . If I had to trust anyone with my dogs it’d be him . One thing I looked for when finding a dog trainer was some one who worked with you and not just board & train your dog. He enjoys working with YOU as the handler to correct your dogs behaviors shaping your pup into how they’re expected to be as well helping you build that bond with your dog. Stella and I will be seeing you again soon ! Thank you !

We’re currently working with Cameron and Kamila with our one year old German Shepherd. The training techniques they teach and homework they give really do work. Things like place, loose leash walking and reactivity are dealt with and the results have come quickly as we reinforce the behavior at home. I can truly say I’m learning as much as the dog! Cameron has a way of incorporating illustrations to explain behaviors and how to address them that that makes the training understandable and practical. We’ve just begun and have a lot more to do, but already get many compliments on how well “Ooey” is doing!

If I could, I’d give Blue Ridge Canine Academy 10 stars!! Cameron and Kamila are wonderful people and excellent dog trainers. They always make me feel comfortable and confident during our sessions, and help to put everything together in a really cohesive way that my dog and I understand. I have a one-year-old male German Shepherd named Oaken, who has excelled through their puppy program, and we intend for him to become a service dog in the near future. They even inspired us to try our hand at dog sports and we are hoping to get a new puppy and compete in PSA trials with their help. We are so excited to see what the future holds and can’t wait for new adventures with the pups and Cameron and Kamila.
