Blue Chip K9

my pup bruno went through the Advanced Board and Train program a couple months ago & it has been a life changing experience. He’s still my sweet boy, but listens so well. I feel comfortable taking him on walks, keeping in his place while I’m on work calls, and his recall skills off leash are fantastic. I could not imagine sending him anywhere else. He’s the 2nd of our family’s dogs to go through it and has been a rockstar training with his cousin @ home. 10/10 recommend the investment for you and your pup it’s a great learning experience for both of you

The team at Blue Chip is incredible! They all want the best learning experience for the dogs and owners. After I adopted my dog, Honey from a shelter I was lost in how to train her. At Blue Chip, she did so well and WE learned a lot from her training! She now LOVES going back for boarding. They are extremely patient, helpful, and go above and beyond! I am so thankful for their help and support!

I knew of two other people that did board and train at Blue Chip K9 before I made the call. I was struggling with my ability to communicate with and control my 5 year old pittie, Eleanor. My first phone call with Dewayne made me feel like they were the right fit for us. I struggled with leaving her for 5 weeks but I believe it was more of a struggle for me than her. The strange thing was, I felt more connected to her after being away from her for 5 weeks then I did before I dropped her off. She is so eager to learn and thanks to Blue Chip K9 I have the skills I need to teach her. If you are looking for a quick fix for your dog, this program Is not for you. This is a real progress that requires work on both your part and your dog’s part. It is so rewarding and heartwarming to see my Ellie succeed. We will be starting group classes in March and I can’t wait. We have some work ahead of us but the progress so far is amazing! Thank you to the whole team at Blue Chip K9!!

My wife won training sessions in a raffle for our rescue dog, Luna. Though we may have received the training for free, it was well worth the money and we are considering advanced classes for both of our dogs. Dewayne is an awesome trainer and gives it to you straight. He’s super helpful and responsive if you ever have any questions or need advice. Our household greatly benefited from Blue Chip K9 training and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to not only help their pups become better-behaved but also learn more about their psyche and what motivates them!

From the jump, Vanessa and Dewayne showed us how professional and caring they were and made us feel really comfortable during our consultation. I think many people can relate that it is nerve wracking leaving your fur baby in the hands of anyone else, and for my partner and I it was a huge deal leaving ours for 6 weeks, but we took the chance bc we wanted to have a better relationship with our rambunctious, headstrong husky. I’m so glad we took the leap bc we now have a husky that we can take everywhere with us and she sits on command, heels, stays in a down, and comes when called on. There’s no better feeling than being able to communicate with your dog and they are happy to understand you and listen. Seeing her progress has been incredible, I never imagined my husky that used to drag me through the street to walk by side and trust me so much that she looks at me as she walks. Dewayne and Vanessa run a great team and plan so many activities for us; from more obedience-based training sessions to fun classes through museums and parks. They’ve even been so kind to extend classes as long as we were willing to participate. They always check in to see if we need any extra help and if any dog is struggling, they don’t blow us off and work reps in until we figure things out. I couldn’t be happier with this experience, I highly recommend them to anyone. There is no stone left unturned with them. If you’re hesitant at all, just have a consultation with them and you will instantly be able to tell that your dog will be in good hands. I’m so grateful we found them, thanks to them we will be able to give our Akira the life she deserves.
