Most trainers say that they can train your dog but Joel is the real deal. He actually trains the dog's human. He should rename BVHT for Big Valley Human Training. LOL! My dogs heel off leash and stay in a sit or down for lengthy times and their recall is astounding. Thank you Joel!

If you are feeling overwhelmed with your new family friend Big Valley Dog Training is the place to go. We have taken our pup through two obedience courses with Joel and we loved every minute of it. The class and the homework is very manageable and simple enough that my husband and kids were able to work on the homework with our dog without attending the class themselves. Have a question after having class? Well you can shoot Britt an email and she gets back to you so fast. My family does a lot of camping in high density areas and we constantly get compliments with how well behaved our girl is. I cannot recommend Joel and Britt more!

LOVE BVDT !!! Joel and Britt are great people, always there to help and support you through the training process. My 5 yr old Frenchie and I had a great time in our training. Zuri did great and it has really helped her behavior. Joel is great at assess your dog and you, and giving tips to help you and your dog improve. We will be taking more classes! It’s a great learning experience
