Do you have a busy work schedule or are you going on a trip soon? Our Board & Train is an immersive style training program that will teach your dog better house manners, social skills, and the basic obedience skills they need to be obedient in a variety of settings!

This experience was literally life changing for us! We could not be happier with the training our three beagles received at Big Sky K-9. Our boys are 4, 5, and 10 and this was their first time getting obedience training. Two of them were reactive on leashes and behind fences. They have bit people and dogs. The other one was food aggressive. They all barked terribly and stole food. Ok, they were like the worst behaved doggies ever. Now, they don’t bark, they don’t steal food, they walk in a heal position loosely on a leash with zero reactivity. They are peaceful and calm and our entire house is less stressed. We brought them home and have continued working with them consistently and they are able to enjoy off leash walks in the mountains without chasing scents! Life changing! These guys were amazing to work with. We got daily training session videos so we knew what the dogs were working on. They have been available after the training to answer questions as well. 10 out of 10 life changing!

Big Sky K9 is awesome. Sam and Sara clearly love dogs and helping dog families. I have two dogs that were not getting along at all. Sam and Sara helped them to better tolerate each other, helped me to know when the dogs were getting stressed, and how to work with them at home. They are calmer, happier dogs. Well worth every cent!!

Our rescue dog was definitely challenging us with door dashing and not being able to recall him when he would get out. We signed up for 5 private lessons at the recommendation of friends. I can say we have a completely different dog now. He recalls very easily, walks well on a leash and is so much calmer in our family. I would recommend Big Sky K9 without hesitation.

Big Sky K9 provides an in-depth commitment to each dog in their care. They devote themselves to corrective training for dogs that have long established behaviors that their owners wish to correct but don’t know where to start. The dogs behavior is corrected, the owners are trained, and you leave with a tool kit that is vast and easy to follow. They are always just a phone call or a visit away to help you address any needs or questions that arise. There are not enough variations of the word thank you to express to Sara and Sam my appreciation for all they did for my dog Finn and for me.

All I can say is we have our life back. After raising a calm, easy going golden we decided to expand our family. Jude is very much a working breed golden, who overflows with crazy intense, chaotic, high energy. After meeting with Sara for one on one training, we learned skills to understand and help him. Things got better for sure but we still needed more help and signed him up for the two week intensive. We really noticed changes after this. He is still full of spark and love, but he can be calm, is able to listen, and teachable. Sara has been a gift to Jude and our family. She truly understands both dogs and people. I trust her so much and am so grateful. If you need help with your pup, this is the place to go.
