Big Hair Dog Training Services

Big Hair Animal Rescue is a non-profit, committed to the fostering, training and the responsible placement of homeless dogs and cats. Certainly an admirable mission. But they are so much more than that. I have been following them on Facebook for years, and I have always been struck by their dedication and care. I recently found myself in a terrible situation with my dog. He was declining rapidly, and I didn't have the resources to properly care for him. After multiple attempts trying to help him with little or no success, Big Hair and Jessica reached out to me and offered to help. I truly was beside myself--emotionally drained, limited resources and no transportation. Jessica stepped right up, took the reins, and helped both me and my beloved pet. "I got you," she said, and she was true to her word. She invested her time and resources, talked me "off the ledge" countless times during this crisis, and even followed through with a lovely care package when my boy's health improved. Her kindness brought me to tears. My trust in Jessica and Big Hair surpassed that of the veterinary professionals. Her 13 years of experience were so evident during this difficult time. My dog would not be alive today if it were not for Big Hair and I am eternally grateful. I have had the pleasure of working with Jessica at Big Hair for about half a dozen dogs through my work with a local rescue and one of my own. She has always been honest, supportive, informative, and bolstering. Most of these dogs are dogs that no one else would have worked with due to their backgrounds or histories and all of them have come away from working with Jessica with new POSITIVE and confident outlooks on life. Without Jessica and the working dogs at Big Hair most of those dogs wouldn't have been able to be placed in the loving homes they have now.
