Big Hair Dog Training Services

We could not be happier with the training provided for a dog in our rescue. Grizz is a big boy who needed help with impulse control and appropriate behavior. Jessica was excellent with him and in a very short time helped Grizz be the best he can be. His foster/adopter visited during the time he was with her and she went the extra mile to bring Grizz home again work with them to set them up for success.

Jess from Big Hair Pet Care is outstanding! We rescued Roman from a shelter in the south sight unseen. He had a host of behavior issues and Jess has been so understanding and patient. BHPC is always dependable and reliable and Roman LOVES to go! He has lots of friends and comes home exhausted every time. They have a great place for the dogs to run safely or just hang out. She sets a great tone for all the dogs and they get along great! She knows her stuff!

We started bringing our 2 dogs to Jess about a year ago and feel so lucky to have found her. I have been searching for a pace where my dogs can board and not be cooped up in a kennel all day. With one of my dogs having minor social issues with some dogs, I wanted a place where she could burn the energy and safely improve her social skills. Jess knows dogs better than anyone I have ever met before and I trust her fully when I leave my dogs with her. I highly recommend leaving your dogs with Jess.

We began bringing our baby to Jessica since she was a puppy. We felt it was important to socialize her with other dogs and get the exercise that she needs. We couldn't be happier with the results. We encounter a lot of dogs on the trails and ours is very well behaved. Also, we love when she comes home exhausted from a hard day of play. Jessica knows her business, we wouldn't trust our girl with just anyone.

I can’t say enough good things about Jessica. I have a good pup overall but there were some issues that I needed help with and honestly didn’t know how to handle them. I was one of those helicopter moms except with my dog. I stressed about how I was handling him and how he would behave in certain situations. I stressed about leaving him alone for even an hour. I started bringing Milo to her daycare and right away, it was like a light switch turned on. She let me know that a lot of what I worried about, I shouldn’t .... and with some professional training from her, his recall is almost perfect and he plays hard, but respectfully .... like a dog should. She taught me to not obsess and helped me train Milo in such a way that it improved my relationship with him tenfold. We’re both more confident and he’s honestly a happier dog. Jessica exudes love for her fosters and rescues ... as well as her daycare dogs. There isn’t a doubt that she loves her profession and it shows every single time I talk to her. She always has the best advice and tips. I’m really so much less stressed and a lot happier now that we’re part of her tribe :)
