We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Claire as our dog trainer for the “All-Inclusive Puppy” program! She worked with our 4-month-old Golden Retriever puppy, Remi, who was struggling with typical puppy issues like biting, jumping, and not listening. Claire didn’t just address these behaviors—she went above and beyond by teaching Remi advanced manners like how to properly greet guests, go to his place, wait at open doors, walk calmly without fear or anxiety, and stop eating things he shouldn’t. Claire was always professional, kind, attentive, and punctual. Her genuine love for dogs and passion for her work truly shine through. Claire tailored the training program to fit our specific needs and concerns and patiently answered every question we had along the way. Her expertise and dedication made such a positive difference, and we now have a much more well-behaved and confident pup! We could not recommend Claire enough—she’s truly amazing! We adopted a kitten in August, but our dog wouldn't stop trying to stalk and attack him. We kept the kitten separated in a different room, because our dog would try and get at him any time she caught a glimpse. We were ready to give up and rehome the kitten, but we had never attempted training with the dog before, and hoped that a few weeks of one-on-one training might make some progress. Megan came to our house for an initial assessment and recommended we try an abbreviated course to see if our dog would progress, and at the end we could decide if we wanted to continue training. She was very upfront about the severity of the situation, but we decided it was worth a shot. Now, after just four weeks of careful training (16x 1-hr sessions), THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS!!! We continue to use the techniques she gave us to work on general obedience commands, but we've seen no further signs of any aggression AT ALL - Our dog actually loves the kitten now and the kitten loves her. We can't thank Megan enough for the peace of mind she brought us. Megan M. worked a miracle for our little family. I cannot recommend her and Beyond the Dog enough. We had an online training session with Megan, and our experience was fantastic! Our dog, Bear, had been experiencing an extreme fear of outside noises since the fireworks during July 4th. Over time, she had been improving but was still afraid to and refused to go for walks in our neighborhood (prior to July 4th, we walked happily in our neighborhood twice a day). We contacted Beyond the Dog for help. The process of setting up an appointment was easy and very professional. We do not live in an area serviced in-person by Beyond the Dog, so we were set up with an online video call with Megan. She came to the meeting completely prepared and had reviewed all of Bear's information. After a brief discussion and some instructions, Megan had us set out on a walk from our house. My husband had the leash, and I videoed so that Megan could see exactly what was happening and give immediate feedback. With Megan's help, Bear walked all around our neighborhood that day! She gave us tips that we never would have thought to do on own. We did the "homework" she recommended and within 2 weeks, Bear is walking from home! She has tons more confidence and so do we. Megan provided detailed notes from our meeting and checked in with us about her progress. From one online session, we gained enough information to feel confident about how to help Bear through any scary noises she might encounter. Now, when she hears a noise, we can work through it together. We are so thankful for Megan and Beyond the Dog!
