Beyond the Dog

We had a great experience with the Executive Training Program for our puppy & working with Erin! Our golden retriever, Mopsie, fell in love with Erin from the start. She learned a lot of great puppy manners & obedience skills that have definitely come in handy now that she's growing! My husband & I learned a ton of skills too, now the hardest part is implementing them daily! LOL We trust Erin with our girl & in our home. She was very prompt in giving us updates & sending us some classic pics of our girl putting in the work! Mopsie may have even convinced Erin to get a golden puppy of her own :) Would use Beyond the Dog & Erin again in a heartbeat! The convenience of in home training cannot be beat!

Erin is a true "dog whisperer" and the best trainer in Kansas City - period. We rescued an 11 month old Golden Retriever that was an anxious and unsocialized puppy mill survivor. Like many rescue dogs, his prior life was unknown aside from all the baggage he carried. With Erin's help, he came out of his shell, lost many of his fears and is well on his way to becoming the confident, loving and well disciplined dog that we knew he could be. She is patient, gentle, loving and insanely knowledgeable; dogs gravitate to and respond to her. Best of all, she's a firm believer that dog training is also about training their human companions. After every session, you come away with the knowledge of how your dog thinks and responds, so that you can adapt the techniques you just learned to other situations. She's simply the best and I'd hire her again in a heartbeat!

Our experience with Beyond the Dog and our puppy trainer, Tiffany, was exceptional. The process to request and schedule services was efficient and smooth. Our trainer cared for our puppy, Murphy, for 21 days. Murphy left our home full of typical puppy behavior such as nipping/biting, seeking out inappropriate items to chew and prompting us to chase him to retrieve the items, jumping up on us, jumping on furniture, uncontrolled leash walking. 21 days later . . . Murphy is rarely nipping, completely avoiding inappropriate items to chew, no chasing going on, no jumping on us, limited jumping on furniture and much improved leash walking. Tiffany was incredibly professional and her in home training sessions after the board and train were very productive and impactful. Murphy clearly loved his time with Tiffany and I could not be more pleased with the results.

Trinity was amazing with my 2 cats. I rescued a new kitty, Tony, and it set off some serious tension in my house - Tony wanted nothing more than to hang with old kitty, Penny... but Penny had 0 interest in Tony. Tony is younger and more confident than Penny. He would chase her and it became real chaotic, real fast. After 2-3 months of me trying to manage on my own, I finally called Beyond the Dog. They worked me into their schedule within a week of contacting them. It was such a relief to have Trinity and Sean help me with my kitties. I worked mostly with Trinity, but she was great about asking her mentors for help when we needed it. I did the 3 week program and saw tremendous results! We went from the cats being unable to look at eachother without some kind of crazy happening, to them eating next to eachother, without incident. Penny will never love Tony. Tony will always love Penny. I love them both, so I just needed them to be able to co-exist. And here we are! I still have to go back and review some things with Tony every so often, but Trinity taught me so much that I feel like I can maintain our progress. I love Trinity and Beyond the Dog for making it possible to keep both my kitties and my sanity! Thank you Trinity! Penny, Tony and I love you and you're always welcome in our family. 😺
