Beyond Obedience Dog Training

When we first started looking for a trainer, we felt completely overwhelmed. We have a Great Dane who was extremely stubborn, and we honestly didn’t know what else to do. That’s when we found Jenny and from the very first interaction, we knew she was different. Jenny contacted us right away and spent over 30 minutes just listening to us. She truly wanted to understand our struggles, our concerns, and our goals. She took the time to explain her training program in detail and gave us valuable insight into how everything would work. She was extremely transparent, informative, and supportive, and by the end of that first conversation, we absolutely fell in love with what she had to offer. We were also completely transparent with her about our situation, and Jenny worked with us and gave us the time we needed. When we finally dropped off Marnie for board and train, we were nervous and didn’t know what to expect but Jenny immediately made us feel comfortable. She checked in on us regularly, reassured us, and made sure both we and Marnie were doing well. Throughout the entire board and train process, Jenny sent pictures, videos, and updates. Her communication was amazing. The training videos were incredibly helpful, and if I ever had a question, she either sent me a more detailed video or took the time to give me a thorough explanation. It never felt rushed or impersonal she truly cared. When we picked Marnie up, Jenny went above and beyond. She spent several hours at our home educating us, walking us through commands, and explaining what to expect going forward. Even after that, when we had a few challenges, Jenny met with us again and helped us with additional training tips and guidance. The difference in Marnie is truly unbelievable. She is a completely different dog, in the best way possible. What once felt overwhelming now feels manageable and positive. At times, training can feel like a lot, but it is 100% worth it, and Jenny makes it an incredible experience. Jenny continues to check in on us and genuinely roots for Marnie’s success. She doesn’t just train dogs she truly loves and cares about every single one she works with. She is patient, honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about what she does. I cannot thank Jenny enough for everything she has done for us and for Marnie. Words truly can’t express how grateful I am. I cannot say enough good things about Jenny at Beyond Obedience. We came to her with our 5 year old Doberman who was skittish, anxious, and reactive around other dogs. Jenny is the best Dog Trainer ever! She is so caring and so knowledgeable about dog behavior and training techniques. With my busy schedule, I knew that a board + train was the best option for Lizzie. I reached out to Jenny to work on Lizzie’s dog reactivity, leash walking, and anxiety. She helped make a custom training plan for Lizzie and what her and I needed to learn. Lizzie made great improvement, even in just her two weeks at training. Jenny updated me every day of her training with pictures and videos. She walked me through everything I needed to be doing at home to implement the training that Lizzie had learned and equipped me with all of the materials and resources needed. There is no other trainer to consider, Jenny is the one you need!

I had not been planning on adding a new member to my household but to my surprise, I adopted a 1 1/2 yr old rescue dog the beginning of Sept. It quickly became clear that Nigel, my new pal, had to learn some manners or he and I were not going to make it. I contacted Jenny, the owner of Beyond Obedience . She immediately came to meet with me to discuss my situation and how she could help me improve my relationship with Nigel. I elected to do a 12 class all day training. After the first 2 classes, I noticed an immediate improvement in Nigel. I learned right along with him. He's completed his training now and I feel like I not only have a new and improved dog companion but I also have a new friend in Jenny and her family.
