Beyond Obedience Dog Training

Jenny did an amazing job with our golden retriever, Fergus. He had a tendency to resource guard, jump up on people and zero impulse control. In just two weeks of the board and train program, he came home as a polite well-mannered dog. He knows place, he walks well on a leash, he stays put until he’s told he can go, and his jumping has cut down significantly just by him listening more. It would not have been possible without her. She always sent pictures as well as videos of how she worked with him with instructions as to how we need to work with him at home. She did all of this without a behavioral training collar, which I wanted to avoid. She continues to check in on him (and us) to see how he is progressing. I would recommend Jenny hands down for anyone looking for a complete dog training. We are thrilled with the dog we brought home.

We trusted Jenny at Beyond Obedience with our new puppy, Cheese, for a two week Puppy Primer program. Cheese was a very timid, very fearful puppy who lacked basic training. Jenny helped get us started on a solid foundation by beginning training with basic obedience and commands, but more importantly she helped to build Cheese’s confidence and tolerance of the unknown and socialized in him ways that we were un able to in those first few weeks. I was extremely happy with the progress I saw after those first two weeks and am excited to continue with the training techniques that Jenny started for us. She sent cute pictures everyday and updates on his progress the entire time. We never had concerns that Cheese wasn’t living his BEST life while at school. I would highly recommend Jenny to anyone interested in dog training services.

Just had our first night with our puppy back and he’s a different dog. I’m an animal lover, but before training I was regretting rescuing Louie. He was reactive and a level of energetic I haven’t seen. I googled, ChatGPTed, and tried every training I could think of and he was still so unruly. That’s when we knew we needed a professional trainer. I have to admit, I thought there was no way that in just a couple weeks Jenny could turn Louie into a manageable dog. But SHE DID! She was so good at communicating and keeping us updated on progress. I got videos of her training Louie to show me what to do in the future. He got an individualized schedule for me to follow, which is so helpful. She has so many resources for us to continue to feel supported even after he comes home. Overall, 100% recommend Jenny. She’s so awesome! So good at communicating. And great support once he gets home. And the most important, Louie is a changed dog for the better.
