I contacted Pete about a month ago regarding my dog's separation anxiety. We tried for months on our own to increase the time we could leave him home alone without incessant barking and kept "relapsing" down to less than 10 minutes. Pete consulted with me on the phone and suggested we try a new tool - we're now at 90 minutes and counting! I'm immensely grateful! When we get our next dog, Pete will be my go-to for any training. Pete has only had two sessions with our wire fox terrier, but she responds to all of his training techniques. Pete has taught us how to integrate her with our older dog. I recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone wanting a great relationship with their dog.

Pete is great. After the initial visit my rescue husky was already behaving better, but most importantly Pete took the time to show me what to look for and how to teach my dog to behave. In addition, all his training methods are humane and it seems he genuinely cares about the animals he interacts with.

Peter was amazing to work with and to learn from. He came ready and prepared with a whole presentation about how to understand your dog and how to start thinking like a canine. He was super friendly and our dogs welcomed him in our home right away and he was great with them. Very different from the first trainer we had for our dogs, Peter instilled confidence in us that we can overcome our 10 m pit mix puppy and his resource guarding issues. Better Manners Dog Training is a game changer and Peter even left us some tools and a whole folder full of information and training prompts to work on. Highly recommend his service!!
