t is impossible to get anyone to answer the phones here! They expect you to leave a message?! I am not going to drive across town to see if they have a very particular kind of dog food that they say they carry, with our knowing if it is 1. In stock 2. Has available the specific flavor my dog needs due to health concerns!!! They lost my business before they ever got my business!! Due to the reviews, and lack of customer service, I’d rather drive to Carlsbad to pick it up! Customer services number one, this business seems to be missing that!

We love this place! Our pup loves the staff. We have kitty cats, and Robert has been amazing at making sure we always have our food in stock. We've even stocked up on kitty toys and I do love how they're able to have a good healthy selection of cat treats for us kitty owners. Great quality products for dogs and pets alike. April runs the puppy training classes. They're great if you want to socialize a young pup 4 months of age to 18 months. The class is more instructional versus some other more hands on classes where you practice more commands and such for a longer period of time. You're sent home with homework and things to work on with your pup. For the price point it's a great beginner class, especially if you're new to having a puppy.

I would not recommend their puppy training to anyone. The moment I walked in and April noticed what breed my dog was, there was an immediate assumption made, and this was reflected throughout the 5 weeks. My puppy was consistently used to demonstrate poor behavior to the class (which was based off of pure bias) and was commonly excluded from socialization - we were told to leave even though another small dog that was bullying my puppy was free to stay. In instances where my puppy showed behavior, like reactivity to other puppies and chews, I was given absolutely no guidance and left feeling completely lost and frustrated. The material we covered you can easily find on Google or YouTube (which is what I did before the training - and she knew almost everything already), since most of what we did was sit in a circle and read through paper print outs. I never leave reviews, but I am disheartened that someone who regards themselves as a highly qualified trainer would conduct themselves this way based off of a dogs breed. Absolute waste of money.
