Sierra and Beehaved Dog Training came to our rescue! When a different training/boarding program cancelled on us last minute, we were left scrambling trying to find a program that would work with our anxious dog. Thankful, we found Sierra and Beehaved Dog Training. Sierra helped ease our fears and frustrations, connected us with a truly amazing trainer, Katie, and walked us through their training programs. We chose the three week board and train program and are so glad we did. Our reactive dog learned confidence, how to regulate himself in various environments, and really how to be a dog. Before Beehaved Dog Training we couldn’t take our dog on walks, had to carefully manage vet appointments to limit interaction with other dogs, and micromanage introductions to new people. Since our dog completed the three week board and train program we’re able to enjoy daily walks, reduced reactions to other people and animals, and a huge improvement in his confidence. Sierra was amazing with our dog Jester. He is a large 3 year old German Shepard.who spends a lot of time off leash at our ranch. He did a 4 week board and train and his obedience improved dramatically. He had a bad habit of chasing wildlife and ignoring his recall. He successfully listens now and responds. Recently he has encountered a bear, a wolf and a number of deer. Each time he listened and returned when asked. It was not only about working with Jester but also with me and my husband. We now have tools to use to keep him safe. I will definitely be calling Sierra to help with any future issues we have with Jester or any other dog.

Beehaved Dog Training is amazing. We did a 4 week board and train program for our 7 year old dog who needed help with resource guarding and general obedience. We had no idea what to expect, but the process was smooth and Sierra kept us updated, educated and part of the process the entire way. Our sweet Charlie girl was in such good hands and came home a different, much calmer dog. And we’re different dog owners, too. Sierra gave us the tools we needed to continue Charlie’s progress and reinforce her new “tricks” now that she’s back home. We have had so many people comment on her new found calmness. I would absolutely recommend Beehaved to anyone looking for help with their dog. We plan on sending our puppy for a board and train when it’s time!

Sierra is amazing! We brought our dog to her when others told us that they could not help us. We did a 6 week board and train. Our dog is night and day different. He listens to commands, he is kennel trained and he now knows he isn’t the leader of the household. Although, he still has some reactivity to people and dogs, we are so much better equipped to manage him and his behavior. He quietly sits in his kennel when guests are over. I am 36 weeks pregnant and am able to walk him safely (he is a 105 lbs American Bulldog). Sierra provided a solid foundation that we have been able to build on. Keep in mind, that you also need to be willing to work with your dog to get the results you want! We had to change everything in our household. He is no longer allowed on our couch and no longer sleeps with us. These were hard adjustments at first, but it has changed how he views us as leaders of the pack. We were desperate and scared that we would not be able to manage him while bringing home a newborn. We are no longer concerned!
