We adopted our dog, Theo, about 10 months ago. Theo is about 5 years old and had a traumatic past. Despite being such a sweet girl, she had some aggressive tendencies and it was becoming very difficult to control her. We decided to send Theo to training after she had an altercation with one of our other dogs. After speaking to a few other trainers, I was put in contact with Sierra. Immediately, I knew that Sierra would do a great job with Theo. Her positive outlook and love for animals is very apparent, and she put me at ease that I would be able to take control back with Theo. We went to pick Theo up a few days ago, and I was amazed at her transformation. Sierra spent several hours answering our questions and teaching us how to continue Theo's training at home. Sierra truly cares for the dogs that she trains and is incredibly passionate about her work. She did an incredible job with Theo, and I cannot recommend Sierra enough! We will be using Sierra for many years to come!

Sierra is a fantastic trainer! Our Doberman, Sam, was anxious and reactive around people and other dogs, making it impossible for us to enjoy walks or have guests over without worry. Working with Sierra has been a great experience. She made us feel comfortable, kept us updated on Sam's training, uploaded videos showing Sam's progress, and followed up after training. The change in Sam has been amazing. Even our vet commented on how much calmer and more confident he’s become! Sierra’s expertise and patience have not only improved Sam’s behavior but also helped our whole family feel more at ease with him. We highly recommend Sierra for anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate trainer.

I cannot recommend Beehaved Dog Training and Sierra highly enough! My dog, Cowboy, came to her as a very scared, reactive rescue with unpredictable behaviors and a lot of pent-up energy. I had worked with over 50 foster dogs, but Cowboy was by far the most challenging, both in terms of fear and reactivity. His behavior was often triggered by people or situations, making it difficult to know when or why he would react, and I feared for his safety and the safety of others. I tried training him myself and even worked with two other trainers, but they couldn’t quite grasp the root of his behaviors. Then I found Sierra, and from the very first conversation, I knew she was different. She listened patiently, understood my concerns, and showed a deep empathy for both me and Cowboy. I was anxious about sending him away for six weeks, worried he might lose his personality in the process. Thankfully, my fears were completely unfounded. When Cowboy returned, he was a transformed dog—still his goofy self but with a new sense of calm, confidence, and focus. He now looks to me for direction and is much more relaxed around triggers that used to send him into a tailspin. Sierra provided weekly updates, complete with videos and detailed training notes, which helped me stay connected and helped me feel like I was part of the process. The follow-up sessions have been incredibly helpful. Sierra tailors our sessions to Cowboy’s unique needs. Sierra didn’t just train Cowboy; she also empowered me with the tools I need to continue his training at home. It's been six months since Cowboy went to “boot camp boarding school,” as we called it, and although he will never be “normal,” he’s a happier, more confident dog—and as a result, our whole family is much happier too. Sierra is a true expert, and thanks to her, Cowboy is thriving in ways I never thought possible. If you're struggling with a reactive dog or any behavioral challenges, I can't recommend Beehaved and Sierra highly enough. She truly saved my dog, and for that, I am forever grateful.
