Larry is an amazing and incredibly effective dog trainer and person. My wife and I got a rescue dog a few months back, and although he was great at home he was very scared of strangers and other dogs. He also was terrible at walking on the leash. We knew we had to do something so we called up Larry at Bark Busters. After our first meeting we could already see a difference in his behavior and obedience. Larry taught us the skills to be able to communicate with our dog. The lessons seemed to be simple, but within a week or two of repeating the exercises our dog was leaps and bounds past where he was. Now our dog listens really well, he walks like a champ, and he is not scared of other dogs or strangers. We cannot credit Larry enough for all he did. Just yesterday we had our dog at the park, he went to dinner with us, and he was so happy and confident the entire time. If you are considering getting a dog trainer, I would undoubtedly recommend Larry at Bark Busters.

Larry is by far the best dog trainer. My husband and I had nearly given up on our 1 year old Australian Shepherd, Randall. We had a previous dog trainer who didn't give us the tools to be successful so we were hopeless. We found Larry when we moved to Greenville and he was very patient with us knowing that there was a lot to teach both humans and canine. Our dog used to control us, own the door, pull on his leash, and bark aggressively at humans and dogs. Over the last couple of months, Larry has taught us drills to practice with our dog that have truly helped transform him. Randall is not the same dog and seems much happier knowing his place in the "pack." It has been incredible to watch the transformation. Thanks Larry for your help with Randall!

Our dog, Percy, was in the shelter for several months before we adopted him. While we knew immediately that he was a very sweet and smart dog, we found out after a couple of weeks that despite many walks per day and all sorts of toys to play with, Percy's energy level was very difficult to work with. On walks he would sometimes get startled by something and all of a sudden be uncontrollably jumping and barking and occasionally, growling at us. Because of his energy level, we thought we might have to take him back to the shelter. But after even one session with Larry, we learned how to communicate to Percy properly and make him understand what we wanted from him. We also learned how to mentally exercise Percy, which wears him out more than 10 walks would! Now, after three sessions, Percy understands how to behave around other dogs and how to calm down when we need him to. His behavior has improved so much and I cannot thank Bark Busters and Larry enough!
