Balanced Pooches In Home Dog Training

My partner and I hired John a few months ago and our dog is still doing great and getting better every week with John's training methods! We were were pretty desperate to find a good in home trainer after our new rescue ( who we were told was fine with other dogs) latched on to another dog on a walk. After doing research and calling around to find a trainer in our price range who could do in home visits and leash training, we found Balanced Pooches. John helped us build trust with our dog through positive reinforcement and after a few weeks we saw huge improvements in his behavior. Prior to working with John we had read many articles and watched lots of videos but weren't sure if what we was were were learning was right for our dog. John was able to give us tailored training that was just right for us, our home and our dog. He gives "homework" in-between sessions which you need to do as his program builds on the previous weeks. If you have questions in-between training sessions or after completing training John offers free telephone consultations which was awesome and we definitely took him up on several times. Overall we are very satisfied with John's training style and our dogs continued improvement. Thank you again, John!

John was a Godsend to us and our boxer pup, Riley. She knew it the minute he walked in our door. She was thrilled to finally have someone who spoke her language. In our first lesson he stopped her counter surfing, it hasn’t happened since! John taught us the right way to communicate with her and his three week training system is easy to follow and if you do your homework with your dog, after three weeks you will have a well trained, happier dog. Amazing! His fees are modest compared to most trainers but his results are spectacular. John, we are so grateful we found you!

I want to very highly recommend Balanced Pooches for your dog training. Our three classes were affordable but honestly I would pay twice the price for the positive changes in our dog's behavior. John was always on time, professional and filled with tips and recommendations in addition to the classes and handouts he gave us that changed our dog and our lives forever. The training is fun and dog friendly, no hitting or pain for Molly, just voice commands and treats that turned into loving by the third lesson. She loved the classes and she is now the dog that we love and can take anywhere. Go with John and Balanced Pooches!!!
