Balanced Paws K9 Training

Lincoln, Megan, and the entire staff are exceptional. Much more than just trying to simply get your dog's behavior to change, they train humans in dog psychology. Our aggressive 4-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix had seen 3 other trainers who essentially wrote him off or had taught us how to use the ecollar ineffectively. One evaluation with Lincoln and Megan, and they were genuinely excited to continue to train him. He even walked alongside them with a loose leash. It was unreal! Our other rescued German Shepherd benefited as well from the basic obedience classes with Lincoln and ecollar training classes with Megan. What a joy to be calm and assertive with our pups and have them be calm and submissive in return. Just a whole different approach that works as long as you put in the work! In addition, allow me to also say the folks at Balanced Paws care for you and your pup on a very personal level. They check in by calling or texting, making you feel like you're part of the pack, never alone in this. They're never condescending and always want the best for you and your dogs. If you are like me and looking for dog trainers, you probably should have called already. I highly recommend Lincoln and Megan at Balanced Paws. They quickly diagnosed the challenges we were having with our pup and put us on the best path to improve them. I have worked with several trainers before and they are by far the best. They clearly love the animals and use effective training methods. It is not easy to find someone with these talents.
