The team at Balanced Paws is amazing! After brining home a 6-ish year old lab/great Dane mix from the shelter I started seeing reactive behavior which made me nervous given her size. I knew it would take time to adjust but felt like I needed someone who could read our new girl better than us. I am SO glad I reached out to Balanced Paws when I did. Our first visit with Megan was so beneficial that we decided to sign up for the group classes. Megan, Lincoln and the team helped us understand so much about what Velma needs to feel safe and comfortable (AKA less reactive). We are still a work in progress, but I am so proud of how far we’ve come. Velma is coming out of her shell, feeling safe and I now feel confident taking her for walks in public without worrying about her lunging and me panicking. All that to say, I would definitely recommend Balanced Paws to anyone who is thinking about dog training.
Lincoln and his staff are the best. The improvements our Sally showed after the obedience class are truly incredible. Balanced Paws and it’s staff are, hands down, the best.
Very knowledgeable dog trainers. Trainer is very good at explaining and demonstrating how to interact with your dog also setting boundaries to have a well behaved dog. Class is very interesting and fun for all, including the dogs. Already seeing better behavior from our lil dog.
Excellent compassionate dog training. Compassionate for both the human and our dog.
