Ryan was very thorough, and detail oriented in what we were looking for with our 2 dogs. He listened to the struggles we were having and came up with a solution he thought (knew) would work (and it did!!!) Ryan had good communication throughout the training process with pictures and videos of our dogs in action. He went over the training process and spent a considerable amount of time when it was time to pick up or dogs. Our dogs have been doing great since they have been back home. Walking them has become much more enjoyable. We look forward to his continued sessions.

We recently had the pleasure of entrusting our one-year-old Catahoula Leopard, Skyla, to Ryan at Balanced K-9 Services for a two-week stay while we were on vacation. From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. Ryan’s gentle disposition immediately stood out. We appreciate his quiet commands. During her stay, Skyla became noticeably more responsive to commands, especially when on leash—a huge improvement that we truly appreciate. What impressed us even more was Ryan’s commitment after Skyla returned home. He came to our house the following week to provide us with personalized tools and guidance, helping us reinforce the training she received while with him. This hands-on support is making a significant difference in maintaining her progress. Skyla clearly loves and respects Ryan, which speaks volumes about the bond he builds with his dogs. At the same time, it’s heartwarming to see her happy and comfortable back in her normal routine at home. We are excited to have Skyla stay with Ryan again for another week during our upcoming vacation. Ryan and Balanced K9 is the only way to go if you're bringing a new pup into your house! Our little family decided the perfect time to add a puppy into our lives was while our son is a toddler (wouldn't advise that). We quickly realized we were in way over our heads and looked for trainers in the area. Ryan's 5-star reviews, responsiveness, and the information we read on his site put him far ahead of his competitors. After our puppy, Atlas, came home, we are so happy to now be able to give Ryan our own 5-star review! Before Atlas left, he was not house trained, would jump all over us, nip us, and was absolutely not an exemplary pup on leash. After only two weeks with Ryan, he came home a completely different pup. He listens, greets people and new things like a doggo with manners, doesn't jump, doesn't nip, and he does everything you'd expect from a well mannered pup. This should be no surprise to any reader of this review because that's what we expect when we send our dogs to training, right? Well, what sets Ryan apart is his follow up and the lessons he provides! It's one thing for Atlas to listen and behave in Ryan's presence, but his ability to train us to get the same results is priceless! It truly helps maintain the progress, and he gives us the tools to mold our puppy into the doggo we want him to be. Lastly, we love that Ryan still allows our puppy to be a puppy. He method is firm but gentle and comes with the understanding that dogs are allowed to be dogs. They are still allowed to sniff. They can get excited about birds and other things, but it's all within the confines of what is socially acceptable for your family. Long story short, if you are looking for a trainer, look no further. Ryan is your man.

Ryan was awesome. We were introducing our husky/Sheppard mix to your new born baby. Our dog is super high energy and very curious. Ryan put us at ease. Showed us exactly what to do in an easy to understand way and we had no issues. Within 10 min our dog was perfectly calm and did not pay the baby no attention. Can’t wait to keep working with Ryan to see what this dog is really capable of learning. Highly recommended!
