Back To Basics Dog Training

First off, Wen Tze was fantastic! We came to her to get our pup, Doug, a little bit better with recall and taking cues on walks. Wen Tze was super receptive to our desired training outcomes and was put together a training plan that exceeded our expectations and more! She was very easy to work with and efficiently adapted to the training needs of our pup to make this a great learning experience for me and Doug. 10/10 would go to her again!

My golden retriever puppy Lincoln and I started working with Wen when he came home at about 9 weeks. Lincoln has learned so much in just five weeks! Basic commands, manners, and how to walk on the sidewalk and minimize distractions. Wen is so patient and always checks in with me during the week to see how things are going and if I have questions. Lincoln loves her and we highly recommend Back to Basics!

We took our two year old dog to see Wen and over just four sessions we already see a huge difference in behavior, listening, and even confidence! Through one-on-one sessions, Wen is able to tailor a training approach to you and your pet that can tackle any issue you throw at her. She not only trains in the moment, but also leaves you with invaluable knowledge on how to continue the training at home. Her passion for pets shines through her work. We would recommend Wen to anyone looking for dog training in the city.

I don't even know where to begin. I am a first time dog/puppy owner. I adopted Murphy at just about 4mo and we started with Wen three weeks later. I did a lot of vetting before deciding to invest in private training. A lot of people recommended group classes for socialization and to save a little money and I understand the perspective however I am very pleased with my investment to do private training and would implore puppy parents to work with Wen! I get so many compliments on Murphy's behavior with other dogs while we are out and his dog walker absolutely loves him because he's such a joy to walk and work with.. that is all thanks to the one on one attention and correction Murphy and I both got training privately with Wen. I genuinely believe mine and Murphy's relationship has such a strong foundation because of the training and I could never thank Wen enough. Murphy will definitely be back to see her when we're ready for more advance training and just to say hi because he adores her!

Franklin and I are so grateful for Jenn! After just the first training session with her, I saw a huge difference in Franklin. We got him from a shelter, and at ~2 years old he knew no commands. Now after completing 4 sessions with Jenn he knows basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, and him and I have such a strong bond. We appreciate the advice and expertise that Jenn continues to provide us with and cannot recommend Back to Basics enough!!
