Back to Basics Dog Training

Leon is all that you need in a trainer. I rescued a Staffie who is as sweet as can be, but has a few issues. She wasn’t going to be able to stay with us if I couldn’t stop her from guarding me, even from my partner ( who is disabled). And thanks to Leon she is with us two beautiful years now! We are having him back to help us now deal with dog aggression. She adores people. So it’s time. I wouldn’t trust her with anyone else at this point! We can’t wait for the end of September. 💜🐾🐾

Leon is very knowledgeable in all aspects of dog training. He basis his training on the individual dog. Like people, dogs have different personalities & learn in different ways. He is always so good in training us dog parents too. He helps us understand exactly what our dog needs to be successful. He is always available to us if we need to ask a question. The dogs love him & respond so well to him & his training. He truly loves animals & it shows. I would highly recommend him to anyone because he is always successful & like children, dogs are more secure when they know their boundaries & what behavior is expected for them. A happy dog is such a great addition to any family.

Back to Basics dog training came to see my dog a few years back who was once a very friendly dog but was now snapping and snarling at my daughter. He instantly pointed out how overweight she was and advised we consult a vet for possible thyroid issue before starting any training. We did and shes been on thyroid medication since which completely solved our issue. To me this really showed that he cared about my animal and not about making a profit. Since then I have asked questions about various things with my 2 dogs and his input is always very helpful. I highly recommend.
