DONT WASTE YOUR TIME: If I could give ZERO stars I would I've tried contacting this company multiple times. The first was through email, i received a message in response asking for a time to contact me, I replied with a large time window and NEVER received a phone call. I stated that I was in urgent need of help also. So I thought that maybe it was due to the holidays. So I waited a few days and emailed them again, and Still NO RESPONSE. They came highly recommended but I will alert the facility on my experience so that they will NEVER recommend the again.

Leon is an amazing and intuitive trainer and communicator ! He is an absolute natural. The dogs respond to him with minimal correction due to his calm energy. I know this because he has taken my beautiful rescued American Staffordshire Bull Terrier from an anxious, nervous dog who lived in a shelter for three years , to a loving gentle calm family dog. She was lovable with humans right from the start, but highly protective of me, so she would often give others silent warnings if they got to close. But walking her in my gated senior community was a nightmare. She had fearful aggression towards all other dogs small and large. My neighbors with dogs ( mostly small but not all) were terrified. He patiently and gently taught me how to calm my energy and communicate with her like he did. I had to do my homework and a few techniques were not the right fit for us. He just kept helping us until we got the right one. Now she walks confidently and calmly and it is an absolute pleasure to walk her. She is not friendly with other dogs but she no longer pulls on my shoulders when walking. That’s huge as she is 60lbs of pure muscle. She sits. Calmly when I visit the homes of others or stop along a walk for a conversation. I have told him and I wish to let every review reader know. Not only do I consider his services to be well worth it! I consider what he has done for us to be invaluable! I pray our Hope is with us for many years , but if there comes a day when I get to rescue again I will call upon Leon at Back to Basics to come help facilitate a calm loving transition from shelter to forever home.
