FirstBarkJulia has done wonders with my dog. Dessa use to pull on the leash and be hard to manage on a walk, now I hardly even need the leash, she walks right next to me and is well behaved. Well worth having Julia work with us.

We require proof of vaccination before allowing any new pups to enter the play area. Puppies 6 months and under need to have at least three rounds of their DHPP vaccines and one Bordetella. I understand you have a play group. Is that for dogs in your training only?
We hold puppy playgroups for dogs 6 months and under on Sundays from 12:30-1:30pm. We don't require training for that but we do ask you call ahead to let us know you'll be coming! For dogs over 6 months we require a training to make sure all of our pups are respectful of our staff and of each other!

I first met Julia in 2012 when I was having severe behavioral issues with my rescue dog Arlo. He was anxious, insecure and fear aggressive towards dogs and people. After several episodes of biting both dogs and humans, including me, I sought out help from different trainers. The methods used had absolutely no affect on him, and I felt like all I was doing was giving him massive amounts of treats for behaving inappropriately. Enter Julia. She came and met with the entire family, not just me. She sat and observed all of our behavior and that of our dogs. She taught us about leadership and balance. And she taught us the walk. In one session Arlo went from being a whirling dervish on the end of a leash to walking by my side. In a few short weeks we were able to take him to a dog park where he ran free with other dogs! We became regulars at her "playgroup", and met many more dogs and owners who were learning to live a more balanced life. Dogs have a keen sense of energy, and they seem to know that they are safe and in good hands with Julia. I know we are.
I have been going to Julia for about 10 years now . She helped us with our first puppy 10 years ago and is now helping with our new puppy. She is very knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend her and will continue to use her for all our training
We tried several trainers with Our German shepherd. Julia did more with him in 30 minutes then others did in hours and days. Best in the business! Highly recommend!!!
