B'More Dogs Hon

We cannot recommend B'More Dogs Hon (Trainer Ryan) enough! We worked with Ryan for both puppy and obedience training with our Cane Corso, and it has truly been the best investment we have made in our dog. Ryan is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping you and your dog succeed. Raising a large-breed dog with young kids comes with unique challenges, and Ryan has helped us build the structure, boundaries, and confidence needed to do it the right way. His support also goes far beyond training, he has helped us with food recommendations, equipment, activities, and just about any question we’ve had. Ryan doesn’t just train the dog, he teaches you how to better understand and communicate with your dog. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional trainer!

I signed up to have my HIIIGH drive Belgian Malinois x American Eskimo puppy start the basic obedience training through here. She just hit 14 weeks when we signed up and we were at a cross roads of if she should start with puppy classes or go right into obedience. I decided to go right into obedience training and I have no regrets! The training is not even finished yet and my puppy is doing amazing. She is now 6 and a half months and I find myself thinking "is she really a puppy? She is so well behaved and not jumping off the walls like you hear most puppies do" and that is because of the training we received from B'More Dogs Hon! Sure, she has her crazy moments when she needs to get that energy out but we were taught how to direct it into play or training and its a whole world of difference. The trainer (Ryan) is also genuinely available at any time for questions or help. I even asked questions that didn't pertain to the program necessarily with how I should handle her first interaction with fireworks and how to help her not develop anxiety and the advise he gave worked! She couldn't care less about fireworks. The same advise came into play with having house work done and hammering happening for 2 days. She was perfect and no problems. TRUST THE PROCESS!!!! Give it your all and follow what he says and you will be golden.

The experience started off great. For $2000, we’re happy we were getting a trainer that brought our dog out of its shell and he was patient with her. Then the trainer started nitpicking about everything the treats, the collar, the leash even OUR shoes. We are between states but for $2000 we went through 6 commands and WE did all the work. At the end. We didn’t even feel it was worth $2000, especially after the first 5 classes 15 classes of the same thing weekly and the attitude over our treats, collar, leash AND shoes. There was no prerequisite list of equipment we should or shouldn’t use. So the behavior is what lead to us attempting to get our money worth but in the end forfeiting the last few days because what was all these unnecessary NEW rules for. Why can’t we train with our already owned equipment. “You don’t have to buy from me but you need…” every damn class. Nice at first then weird and even off putting behavior lead to this review.
