B.A.R.K. Institute

We were contemplating giving our puppy back to the the breeder. We finally decided to let Jamie help us with our 16 month old Shepherd. He was so sick for months after we got him and training was difficult. We signed him with Jamie for board and train and after his training was done he is a totally different dog. Her training skills are top level. I would definitely recommend Jamie and B.A.R.K. institute for any training needs.

After talking to Jamie and telling her of Blaze’s fear of people, dogs and everything including blowing leaves, Jamie recommended four weeks of board & train. We were nervous about leaving Blaze, but made the decision based on Jamie’s knowledge & recommendation. Jamie kept us updated every day with texts, photos & videos. We watched our nervous boy transform. She took him everywhere to face all his fears. She exposed him to dogs with good behavior. In the first video, we saw him nervous, and his tail was down. Fast forward to the 2nd & 3rd week, we saw his confidence grow & he was no longer afraid and ran & played with the other dogs. We were so impressed! Jamie puts so much love and has so much knowledge of training dogs, especially fearful dogs. She has taken the time to train us, too, and is always available to answer our questions. After four weeks of training with Jamie, it is like we have a new dog who is confident & happy. We highly recommend B.A.R.K. Institute & Jamie. It was an incredible experience. We are forever thankful that we took this journey.
