B.A.R.K. University is the premier place for dog training and dog boarding. We are situated 7 beautiful acres in Southampton. Our state of the art facility built in 2024 includes: a large training room with rubber flooring, stress-free boarding kennels, large outdoor yards with turf, an oversize play yard for socialization, woods for hiking and more! We live onsite to ensure 24/7 monitoring, as well as a full camera system within the facility for extra security measures. Owned by a veterinary technician and professional dog trainer, BARK U offers dogs an immersive experience for training with an "at home" feel. We provide luxury boarding accommodations, as well as medical boarding for those special pups who require a bit extra TLC.

Jess had my dog Kali for about a month for a board and train and it was the best decision i’ve ever made! Kali was a huge flight risk and would constantly run away. I had a hard time taking her for walks since she pulled so much and I always had to worry about all gates and doors being closed since she had a habit of getting loose and had no recall skills. After Kali went to Jess i’m now able to take Kali all over with me, she’s totally off leash trained, has amazing leash skills, crate trained and she knows a few cool tricks! I’m able to take her to the barn, go on hikes and take her into stores with me. Jess has such an amazing ways with dogs and treats every dog she works with like her own. I never worried once about Kali when she was with Jess. Even today anytime Kali sees Jess she freaks out with excitement. I’m very grateful to have met Jess and to have had the opportunity to send Kali to her!

We truly got SO lucky!! I was originally looking to inquire about a puppy from Vogelhaus when Jamie mentioned a 3 year old female also available for adoption. With our lifestyle and constant busy schedule, a trained, grown, dog made more sense. Jamie was so flexible with getting us out there to meet her and answering a million of my questions. After hearing our girl’s story, what she’s been through, & seeing her sweet face… it took us less than 12 hours to make the decision. B.A.R.K Institute/Vogelhaus/Jamie did such an incredible job with our girl in before the final adoption with training and evaluating her to make sure she was ready for her new home. Every day I say how lucky we are to have gotten the best dog. Thank you, Jamie, for everything!!

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Jamie. When I contacted her, her passion and expertise for canine behavior were evident. My labrador puppy has quickly responded to all the guidance we have received from Jamie. Jamie took the time to understand his unique personality and tailored the training sessions accordingly. Her positive reinforcement techniques were effective and fostered a strong bond. What I appreciated most was her emphasis on educating me as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Jamie and B.A.R.K. Institute to anyone seeking professional and compassionate dog training services.
