Kirstie has been nothing short of a miracle gem for us. My dog, Zeppelin is a smart, amazing dog but had challenges with meeting new people and presented as timid when put in new situations. With Kirstie’s expertise and guidance, Zeppelin is now so much more confident and has the tools to know what to do when she is in novel situations that would frighten her before. She also has given me the confidence that I need to make sure Zeppelin gets the opportunities to practice the wonderful skills she has acquired whilst working with Kirstie and the pack. Heeling was always a challenge for us and Kirstie prioritized this skill and now Zeppelin is able to heel with our a leash. There truly is not a single problem that I am confident Kirstie can’t fix. She is flexible, creative, and thinks outside the box to find the solution to solve the problem. Even aside from her amazing intelligence and skill set, is her passion for dogs. Kirstie treats Zeppelin as if she were her own family member and I honestly don’t feel I would find that level of quality treatment elsewhere. She truly has become a part of our family ❤️❤️

My fiancé and I recently sent our rescue dog Bartlett to Kiwi’s for obedience and reactivity training, which then progressed to daily camp sessions because of the phenomenal care he got with Kirstie. We got Bartlett less than a year ago and throughout the year, he developed some extreme separation anxiety that resulted in aggressive tendencies. We knew that he wasn’t a bad dog but more so needed appropriate training to help him understand his emotions and be confident in himself. Kirstie did just that and so much more. Ever since he came home, he has been a completely different dog. He is very obedient, shows less anxiety and is so much more snuggly, which is very nice for us! He is the happiest I’ve seen him when Kirstie or Kate comes to pick him up for day camp. He is truly living his best life and he wouldn’t be able to without Kirstie and Kate. I couldn’t thank you guys enough for making my dog the happiest guy I ever did see. His life is forever changed ♥️

My dog came home with an injury . I understand things happen, dogs fight , etc. what I didn’t understand is why the owner never called me to explain when the incident occurred or after. The partner to the owner delivered my pup home with the news of a dog fight , and my pup had a blood shot eye . From apparently someone at the academy choking her as they pulled her away from another dog . I still don’t know what actually happened. The owner seemed to know her stuff . Nice home . But way to many dogs to give my dog the proper attention she deserved. Spent $1500 and not really sure it was worth that . Highly disappointed! But great people and wish them well .

Kirstie and her team have been working with our 1+ year old Lab and he has made great progress with socializing and meeting new friends ”pooches” and people in public. He goes once a week for pack play off leash and he has shown really nice progress in his training. Had a recent hike this morning off leash up a mountain and he was very responsive to commands when needed “not many at all” with plenty of people hiking with dogs both on/off leash. Very happy with the training and pack at Kiwi’s Dog Training Academy!
