Auburn Leach K9 Academy

Well, we paid a TON for OBEDIENCE training.. our dog wouldnt listen..wasnt leash trained well and didn't get along well around other people or animals... they kept him for just over a MONTH brought him back said he was doing great... showed us he heeled on leash... <sorta> claimed it would be better once they left etc... as he was just excited to be home... claimed he was doing better around others etc... ACTUALLY HE WAS WORSE. He's very aggressive...and ever since we got him back he pees and acts SCARED any time I try to dleash him or anything... THIS IS NEW BEHAVIOR SINCE TRAINING... he was also returned to us with SEVERAL SORES and no real explanation... his tags went missing, his toy is missing and his special food bowl as well...even though we reminded them of it... but come on.. his tags!!!???? Upon returning him we were told they'd follow up... NOPE hell just reaching them at all is almost impossible... never will I recommend them to anyone again.

My experience was horrible. I sent my dog for obedience and guard training and he was not trained for either one properly. My dog came back with marks on his nose supposedly from being scared and hitting his cage during a thunderstorm although not once in the time I owned him did he ever show any fear of thunder, he wouldn't sit for more than 20 seconds, he came home smelling of feces and filthy, he also came back with a hatred of men he didn't have before and his guard training ruined him as a family dog and pet since he was only given two lessons and those on how to bite, needless to say it became an issue when people would raise their arm, he thought it was the signal to bite and would lunge so I eventually had to get rid of him because of it. I spent $3,000 on that dogs training and not only lost out on that but on a great dog as well. Because of his "training" he ended up worse than I began with. Auburn was supposed to come back to finish training him and never did nor did anyone else from his business. Obviously I'm extremely dissatisfied with this training facility.

Auburn Leach's idea of under ground fencing is stapling to your fencing and not telling you he did that until you find it yourself! I had 3 dogs at his camp. All 3 came back nervous wrecks and one had evidence of abuse that he would cower upon approach, which he never had done before. After Auburn saw the dog's demeanor toward his family as we approached him and the look on our faces, he told us the dog was absolutely not trainable, but still took our money because he "tried". We will never recommend this man for anything.
