Atlas Dog Training

This review is lengthy. Maria and Atlas Training staff has saved my relationship with my dog. I have a 20 months old working line German Shepherd “Dante” who has entered his “teenage” phase. On top of that I was working a lot and missed a window where I could prevent his issues. By the time I finally got to it, he was out of control. Jumping out of the window of moving vehicle, leash anxiety so bad that it would clear out vets office, selective hearing and even more selective obedience. A word “rehome” was entering my mind more and more till a friend told me about board and train program his dog attended and it helped tremendously. That’s how I came across Atlas Training. Their reviews were great and I signed up. Expression “it takes a village to raise a child” so applies to your dog. You just can’t do it alone, and having someone as knowledgeable and experienced as Maria helped me so much. She build a foundation of obedience that I can actually build upon. Dante is so well behaved now, and we have the tools such as e and prong collars to make him an amazing dog. You will be receiving videos and pictures regarding the progress, and you will see how much your dog is learning and changing. Afterwards, they are available to help you with any issues. Sending Dante to this program was my act of love because he deserves love and praise, not constant criticism and a side eye. I actually enjoy spending time and training him; our relationship is improving daily, and word “rehome” has been forgotten. Maria, thank you so much again for helping us. Dante and myself are forever grateful.

I can’t thank the Atlas training team enough! We brought our rambunctious mini-Australian shepherd here for training (obedience) and boarding, and the difference has been amazing. Initially, my mother lacked the physical strength to walk Onyx on her own due to an arm injury; however, she is now able to do so independently thanks to obedience training. Secondly, to all my Spanish-speaking community with fur babies who need an excellent bilingual trainer, Maria is the one and the best. She was extremely helpful when communicating with my parents in Spanish and explaining the dog training process to them. Maria sent videos, images, and wrote reports informing us weekly about Onyx’s progress. All the trainers were patient, kind, and clearly knew their stuff. Third, the best part is that we are still in contact with them whenever we need support. Lastly, our dog now walks on a loose leash, listens to commands, and is so much calmer at home. If you’re looking for a place that genuinely cares about your dog while also helping them learn, this is it!

Atlas Dog Training has been absolutely amazing! We brought our 1 year old Doberman there with hopes that he will come back more obedient, and they helped train him to become much much better when it comes to his commands, helped with his pulling when walking and also his off leash commands! Thank you guys for the support even after Rocco has left, with tips, and supportive text to make sure Rocco is still on with his training after leaving! Thank you guys
