I can’t say enough amazing things about Amanda and her business, Atlas Canine. She has been working with my Australian Shepherd, Chino, since I adopted him in 2022, and the transformation has been incredible. Not only has she helped shape Chino into an exceptionally well-behaved, confident dog with amazing off-leash skills and reliable recall, but she’s also helped me become a better, more knowledgeable dog owner and partner. Her guidance, consistency, and dedication truly changed the way I understand and communicate with my dog. Because of Amanda, Chino gets to live a much more free and fulfilling life, and that’s something I’m endlessly grateful for. You can tell she genuinely cares about every dog she works with and puts so much heart into what she does. If you’re looking for high-quality training and someone you can fully trust with your dog, Atlas Canine is it. I recommend Amanda to everyone I know!

4 year old Hattie had trouble with jumping on people, leash pulling, , chewing on furniture, fear of missing out, vacuum fear, not letting me cut her nails, and anxiety. Did board and train with Atlas canine and couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Today Hattie came home a happy confident girl. Loved the many updates we got on progress and training. In person mid-way training session and a training session when she came home to set us up for continued success. I 100% recommend Amanda and her training process. Especially loved that knowing Hattie is part Bassett Hound how smelling and being outside brings her so much joy and how we can make walks fun for her as well as us not getting pulled the whole walk.

Don't think twice, and make Amanda your dogs new best buddy! She's absolutely incredible. We truly cannot recommend Amanda highly enough! Working with her has been an absolute game-changer for our dog, Kubota and for our entire household. When we first started, Kubota was quite honestly a mess. He was just under a year old (he's a chocolate lab from a hunting lineage so he's very high energy) and struggled most with excessive leash pulling, reactivity towards other dogs, jumping on guests, and barking at the animals we have around the farm, or at us when we needed to work with the animals and he wasn't able to join us; instead of sitting quietly at the edge of the pasture while he waited for us it was non-stop barking and crying no matter what we did. We were beyond defeated and weren't sure what to do. From the very first session, Amanda impressed us with her incredibly clear, calm, knowledgeable and compassionate approach. She didn't just train our dog; she taught us how to communicate clearly and consistently, and acted not only as a trainer to him, but truly a kind helping hand to us as people which made our relationship with our dog so much more bonding and built strong trust with her. Amanda's methods are positive, experienced, and focused on building a strong, trusting relationship with your dog. We've hit every milestone we aimed for and it is so wonderful. We were even able to take Kubota to a national forest hike after literally one training session on how to guide him on a leash, and after she so willingly let us work with Atlas her personal pup to teach Kubota how to be around other dogs. Side note - if you get the chance to meet Atlas your heart will just melt, he is the sweetest little angel boy. Walking is now a pleasure, Kubota no longer pulls and can walk politely past distractions. The reactivity and jumping has dramatically decreased with him now having zero reaction to other dogs, and we now have the tools to manage situations that used to cause meltdowns if something ever were to happen. On the farm Kubota seamlessly flows with us, and is the behaved farm dog we dreamed for him to be. Amanda is a wealth of knowledge, straight forward, is incredibly responsive, patient, kind, and always available to answer our follow-up questions and gives a ton of recommendations. If you follow her lead, do your homework, actually listen to her experience and expertise you will get so much out of working with her. Though she is excellent on her own, I do want to remind anyone reading this that it is a collaboration. The amount of focus and dedication you put into change and training matters, and the outcome absolutely will be reflective of your commitment to Amanda, yourself and your pet. You are investing in your future with your relationship with your dog, and essentially the world and people around you, so give it your best effort. My hope is that you give Amanda as much as she gives you. She's incredibly hard working and if you work as hard as she does and put in the effort like she does it will do you such good. If you're looking for a dog trainer who delivers real results and makes the process enjoyable, look no further!
