Asheville Dog Academy

We opted for 4 in-home training sessions for Buddy, our large mixed-breed dog. We were most concerned about recall and resource guarding. Rebecca was wonderful! She helped set up a step by step plan for each of our concerns, walked us through every step with clear instructions & gave us homework to ensure that we were working with him daily. (Because, let’s face it. She was training us as much as our dog.) She always arrived on time with a pleasant, positive attitude & Buddy really liked her. So did we!

We had an amazing experience with Rebecca! She was very patient and gave us the right direction for us to feel comfortable with each command. Our golden retriever, Happy, caught on with all the commands quickly. Rebecca is very knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease during each session. Now I can feel more comfortable taking my golden to the park and on walks without worrying that he’ll drag me or run away from me. We highly recommend Rebecca for all your doggy’s training!

Great place to teach your dog some manners! Trainer Rebecca was amazing and Ozzy was always excited to see her. She taught us the basics and what to work on at home. After each session we would take what we learned and put it to use in the real world. We only had 6 sessions but my Ozzy can heal, place, stay, come, and no longer jumps up on people in excitement. She always checked in prior to the start of each session to see if anything new came up that we needed to work on for the week. Strongly recommend Rebecca and Asheville dog academy!
