Art of the Dog Canine Academy

We are so happy we chose Art of the Dog for our dog’s training. From our initial interview to the continuous follow-up after boarding ended, every staff member has been amazing. Additionally, we appreciate the instructional videos shared with us while our dog was boarding and the resources available now that he is home. Our dog was very distracted by squirrels and rabbits in walks and loved to bark at bikes and motorcycles. Now he walks smoothly and ignores these distractions. Coming back home, we do have to practice what was learned at training. It’s not perfect but we have the resources we need to quickly remind him. It’s like having a new dog when it comes to following instructions and being well-behaved. We would highly recommend Art of the Dog for anyone looking for training that sticks.

We took our sweet 8 month old Labrador Retriever puppy to Art of the Dog to teach him how to walk politely on a leash, calm himself down, and stay focused around distractions. Natalie was his trainer and she did such a wonderful job!!! She sent us regular updates, photos, and videos of his progress as well as helpful videos about training strategies. It was clear throughout his 3 week training that he was being treated with care, love, and expertise. He came home confident, happy, and SO WELL EDUCATED! We are so grateful to Art of the Dog!!!
