My 120lb GSD came from a farm, having very little structure and training, and was pretty reactive to other dogs. After the board & training he's much calmer and does well with his new commands. He's reactivity can be managed now and I can actually take him on neighborhood walks. That was a big improvement for my boy. I think AOD did well for my dog and would recommend them. Remember, when you get your dog back you will have new responsibilities too.

We left our dog Rudy there for several reasons, he wasn’t wanting to go to the bathroom outside, he was aggressive towards other dogs, and we wanted him better trained all around. Let me say, these guys were awesome! You can tell that they love and care for these dogs. I was getting daily updates on Rudy, and lots of communication on how things were going. What they promised wasn’t a perfect dog, but a strong foundation to continue training, and they delivered! Rudy still sometimes goes inside, but where we would never go to the bathroom outside, he now does consistently! Regarding the aggression, it’s a long road to getting him comfortable with other dogs, but where he could be within 50 feet of another dog, he can now comfortably be at 10-15 feet! After the training, they’ve been super helpful in responding with questions and advice. With these guys, you’re getting your money’s worth. Training a dog isn’t as simple as a board and train, but they set you WELL onto the right path, and help you along the way afterwards, too. Would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone needing serious training with their pup!

The staff was great and very communicative, it was super reassuring and the skills my big girl came back with were very helpful. Though I will say if you have a super emotional dog that already has some anxiety, it might make the anxiety worse. My girl came back with worse separation anxiety then she had before. I did talk to the staff about it and they gave me some great advice and sent helpful videos and called to talk to me on the phone but it has still been a challenge.

Those 3 weeks felt like forever without my buddy but it was all worth it. We went through the Longmont location and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Giving him a more structure and learning opportunities made a huge difference! I got daily updates from his amazing trainers and cute photos of him in costumes. Everyone has been so helpful and patient with both of us as we learn and they are always available to answer extra questions or give more guidance.
